Whatcha Been Playin': Last weekend before Diablo 3 Edition

Amassed a bit of a backlog since I was able to finish my gaming collection thanks to some lucky bingo expeditions.

Just finished Yakuza: Dead Souls so this weekend should be aimed at:

Vanquish: I'm not too hyped about this one since I'm not a fan of Mikami anymore but Platinum Games and Sega have been good to me this gen so I'm giving it another go.

Bought this to play co-op with my brother but the single player has been ok. I still prefer the older games(well most of the time) but I like the challenge system. I have about one and half stages to go at this point.

I bought this when it came out but I never finished it. I traded it in to pick up SMG2 which I don't regret since I picked it up pretty cheaply a few days ago. I really enjoyed what I played although those sword duels were pretty annoying.

Pandora's Tower: This is the one I'm most excited to play. I've really liked what I've seen and the impressions make it sound like a game that's right up my alley.

Give Vanquish a shot. I found it to be lots of fun. There were some huge mech fights I found to be difficult, but it was all worth it.

WoW - I'm working on getting a shaman, rogue, and priest to 85 prior to MoP.

Company of Heroes - I've started playing through the campaign again. I have all of the expansions but have never touched them so I am trying to change that. The announcment of CoH 2 prompted this.

Various console games (20-ish) - I just had my new 70" 3D television delivered today. I hooked it up and had to go straight to work. That really is a cruel, cruel thing to do to a man. Anyway, when I get home I will be playing every 3D game I own over the course of the weekend. I want to see the difference in quality from title to title for myself. My backlog actually worked in my favor for once because many of the games that I bought in the fall include this tech and I have yet to play them!

So far it has been a bit of Battlefield 3 on PC. I think I may tackle another game from my backlog to hold me over till Diablo comes out. So it will either be Uncharted 3, Mafia 2, or Deus Ex HR. What say you GAF. Suggestions on which one to take down?

Torchlight. And I have no interest in diablo 3 particularly. I was gifted torchlight on stream by a fellow gaffer and thought it in my interest to play it. Finding it ok, but starting to get repetitive, up to level 3
20 something of the dungeon.

Also paying through doom 1. It is still fantastic.

Double also, playing Ck2 in the gaps.

Pokemon White. I've been in a catch 'em all mood. However, come midnight (er, 3 a.m., why do you have to go on PST Blizz?) I'll be ALL about Diablo III. I can't remember the last time I was this giddy and excited about a game.

DXHR is brilliant. What's your reason for not finishing it yet?

Playing through Arkham City PC over the past couple of days.
Path of Exile open beta this weekend.
Diablo 3 from Tuesday at 2am my time to ...

Really addicted to this game, just made it to chapter 3 last night. (on the chaos path)

Getting back into this after a 2 month break, around the 30 hour mark finishing off a few sidequests then moving back to the main quest.

Also getting back into this, around halfway through the main story.

I started it when it came out but for some reason it didn't hold my interest. For the last few days I have had a itch to play it again so I may go that route. Just start a new game and marathon it.

I'm getting back to Xenoblade after having not played it in about a week. The game is still awesome, and taking a few days off helped me not overdose on it. I've also been getting further into Persona 2: Innocent Sin, and I'm continuing to love that game quite a bit.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Maybe about halfway through. Stopped for a little while to play
Devil May Cry HD: First time. So good. The game seems to increase in difficulty really quickly, but the first
Phantom and Nelo Angelo
fights basically make you learn how to play properly before you can progress. After that I was concerned that it was a little too easy (on Normal) but the last
Nelo Angelo and Nightmare
fights brought it.
Ketzal's Corridors: Interesting game. I haven't spent much time with it, but it seems you need to become intuitive with the controls to really enjoy it.

Red Dead Redemption: GOTY - Already finished it when it came out, but I just wanted to kill time until D3/MP3/Dogma and Game of Thrones come out. It's a beautiful world to explore and kill time with. Even though the ps3 versions grass is sort of depressing.

Mass Effect 3- Really hoping I can finish this before Diablo 3 comes out. Only 12 hours in though. So I'm not sure. Pretty good so far. The game makes me realize how GREAT this series could have been, given the potential of the first one.

Trials Evolution. Loved Trials HD, but this is even more amazing. Tons of great tracks, with even more available on the track central. And mp is a lot of fun too.

Ascension: Storm of Souls. Another amazing game, and on iOS to boot. At this point in time, if you're just slightly into board games, the iPad is a must have. Seriously.

Honestly, I don't see any other better games than these two coming out this year (of course it helps that I don't give a shit about Diablo).
