I'm hoping to knock out as much of Oblivion as possible before September hits. There are so many games I want from September through the end of the year, so best to go ahead and devote time to Oblivion now.

Bit of a random one for me:

I just had a sudden urge to play it, having played a few hours when I got it last Christmas and not touched it since. I started a new game because I couldn't really remember what was what - not that it made much difference because the game really doesn't hold your hand at all - and I really like it. I'm going to install it on my 360's hard drive when the new dash comes out just so I can play it (hopefully) without texture pop-in, but I love the universe.

Plus Geometry Wars 2, which I still suck at.

I intend to revisit BioShock as well, since I still haven't finished it.

Need to get back into this game.

Bought this upon release and I've not played it yet.

Game of the Forever.

Warriors of Fate II for the Saturn. Very violent beat em up that's like a combination of Captain Commando and Knights of the Round. Set in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms Story line.

necronomicon-f_small.jpg

Necronomicon Pinball - 3 tables loosely based on HP Lovecraft. This is the total package for pinball fans. The intro and eqilogue music was done by a member of Dream Theatre, the in game music is great, the graphics are awesome, the physics are perfect, the table designs are well laid out. There's even poetry and spoken word during the lit rounds. The only knock I have against it is that the multiball sessions get a little nuts and hecktic with 6 balls at a time.

truepinball4.jpg

True Pinball - Terrible game other than the music in Viking, which is great.

Pac Man C.E. demo
Braid Demo ( I can't drop $15 on an XBLA game)
BC Rearmed
Pinball FX

Edit: Went to the state fair arcade and played:

Got this because I loved Draconus Cult of the Wrym on the DreamCast(one of my favorite games of all time) Oddly enough this game was more or less a console version of Die by the sword but went under a different name for the DC. I decided to go back and hunt the original PC game down after seeing gameplay footage of it on YouTube. Will get it soon from Ebay.

Die by the Sword! Man, that's awesome. Used to play that a lot back in the day.

Done with 1 and almost done with 2, and just started 3. I'm trying to finish them before IV comes out next month. :D

KageroDeception2USA.jpg

Haven't played it in years, forgot how bad the translation was. :lol

Still haven't finished it yet.

I especially like playing Spy in this game, and thats like being raped by a spiked club. But i keep coming back for more. :(

Quite an awesome game. Found it for a few euro's in some clearance bin, didnt expect much from it but it really impressed me. Must have played the first mission like 20 times before i got maximum score. Stupid criminals kept shooting at me and getting headshot in return when i should have arrested them. :lol

Revisiting this for the first time in years. Still a wonderful game.

Got in the mood for more backlog and am also playing through this.

DS: Final Fantasy 4, Rhythm Tengoku Gold (if I can figure the damn thing out!)
PSP: Dragon Warrior 6
PS3: Madden09 and bionic commando
360: TOO HUMAN!! (this will get the bulk of my time this weekend), oh yeah, Braid too..but probably not much.
Wii: makes me sad, might try out strong bad
PC: HL2:EP2, TF2, Space Siege

I finally have a weekend in town and plan to fully utilize it!

Too Human - Only about an hour, I like it quite a bit at this point, I ignored most of the noise in the last couple of weeks so I'm going into it relatively fresh.

Madden 09 - About 10 games into my first season in franchise, I think its the best Madden this gen. Smooth gameplay, the IQ is a little wonky but I let it do its thing and I've had pretty competetive games

Braid - Still working on the puzzle pieces in World 5 and 6, some of the ones in World 5 are a bitch.

Rented it for a week. I want to finish the SP campaign. I'm having a blast playing this on a 5.1 setup. Currently at the Tchernobyl mission...

Playing this on Very Easy to show the MGS series to my new GF. I'm at the fists fight with Volgin.

Playing this with the gf as well. She loves it. I'm after Leviathan.

Started doing dailies while waiting for my guild to start instances again and waiting the next expansion. I've arranged my setup to be on my big screen TV with the 5.1 setup and playing with a 360 controller. It's WoW on consoles for me ;)

I completed Braid two nights ago - for the people that think it's too much, give it up. This game is one of the best I've played this year.

other than that:

Bionic Commando: Rearmed
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Persona 3: FES

Golden_Sun_Box_Art.jpg

Week 3 of playing. I'm about 45 hours in. I'm really enjoying, but since I've beaten the game before I know it's almost over. Just got to the Venus Lighthouse.

915410_26802_front.jpg

I just beat Kingdom Hearts last night at about 2 am. Jesus christ, could Ansem have any more stages to the final fight? That was one long ass final battle. So I am probably going to pop KHII in today.

Sotc_boxart.jpg

I'm a few hours in, heading to the fourth colossi. The frame rate gets annoying a lot of the time, but overall, it's fun to play something new and innovative like this game.

Got my PS3 with Uncharted & Resistance this week so I've been playing them to death.

I'm struggling with Resistance, story is interesting but I find the game itself really dull, lacks the intense atmosphere that sets the best FPS games apart imo.

Really like Uncharted though, characters are charming, the story is mostly interesting and all the game mechanics work really well. Just wish there was a little more exploring and a lot less shooting (also could have done without the
Cannibal things
).

I'm in over my head.

Got an xbox360 along with

Halo3
dead rising
crackdown
bioshock
orangebox
Gears/PGR4

braid
Geowars 2

simply too much to play. Focus is on bioshock and when I tire of 1 player I switch it up to halo.

With Dragon Quest IV being released next month, I thought i'd give this another go. I'm not sure if i'll finish it before IV comes out, But i'm 14hrs in at the moment and really enjoying it.

Trying to finally finish off some of the Bonus dungeons, But things aren't going so well.

Ghost Squad. I had unlocked a shitload of stuff on a friends' Wii, but at home I have only unlocked Paradise and Ninja mode, which is a crime.
The game, while short, features a ridiculous amount of alternate routes. Its lightgun calibration should have been included in the Wii menue IMHO. So good. The graphics are certainly nothing to write home about though...
2i6kwtz.jpg

I love that Paradise mode. More games need stuff like this.

Amazing game. I ought to play this again.

...but right now, I'm letting DMC4 kick my ass all over the place.

Bionic Commando Rearmed PS3
Ratchet & Clank: Quest for Booty PS3
Space Invaders Extreme DS
Resident Evil Deadly Silence DS (well I'm going to buy it right now anyway)

hegemonia_screen_2_large.jpg

Grabbed the Hegemonia bundle from Gamersgate, having played it a few years back. Great stuff.

starwolves4.jpg

Grabbed this old Russian-made RTS/RPG from Gamersgate as well. While the voice acting is woeful, a classic Russian melancholy seems to eminate from this one, as it provides a Nexus: The Jupiter Incident-esque combat system with upgradeable characters with a great array of perks and skills to acquire.

ground-control-2-2.jpg

And nothing beats a bit of Ground Control II. It's just one of the greatest online RTS/RTT games ever.

Did they reissue the cover? Hope they do.

Also playing Madden...
Bionic Commando
Ratchet & Clank: Q4B
Chocobo's Dungeon
MLB Power Pros 2008
MLB 08: The Show
Rock Band/SingStar (every weekend)

Still gotta finish MGS4 and GTAIV

oh, plus some sports wagering on preseason NFL ;)

Finished Donkey Kong 1994 on the GB recently, also finished Ratchet and Clank Quest for Booty this morning. Also downloaded Braid and have been throughly enjoying that. I also bought Folklore but haven't played it. The next thing on the list is probably the Star Wars Force Unleashed Demo for the PS3.

Majyuuou (SNES) -- great action game. Beat it 4 times (it's a short game, but with all the transformations there's many ways to play it -- it has 2 difficulty levels too)

Thanks for the tip. I'm gonna check this out.

Sutte Hakkun (SNES) -- very good puzzle platformer with the usual Nintendo magic. Only in Stage 5 so far (each stage has 10 levels), and my brain is bleeding already.

These are both really good games. Sutte Hakkun is badly in need of a WiiWare remake, or at least a VC release.
