What's next for Sony Third Party Relations Team?

you might want to play 2 again because most of the problems you cite with shenmue aren't there or are barely present in the second game. 2 was super open with letting you explore, bar specific story beats in disk 2.

Kind of. You still have to go to bed at a specific time for example, right? It's been a while since I played Shenmue 2.

Yakuza Ishin ideally.

I'm happy with English sub-titles and a digital only release. I'm tempted to try and play it in Japanese, but I'd rather just have translations.

does anyone know how Digimon Cyber sleuth compares to Digimon World 1? I had a blast with DW1

Nah, if you want DW1 gameplay there's a 3DS that does that (which is a remaster of a PSP game). The game is 2+ years old so I don't see it getting a localization now. You're better off buying the PSP version and waiting for the fan translation which should be out 'soon'.

The Vita game is a dungeon crawler with 3v3 turn-based battles.

They were released for PS3 before even the Wii U version was announced. The game bombed on Wii U, so that might have killed Sega's interest in porting further Yakuza games for the platform.

I really find it strange that i didn't even knew about the Japanese PS3 release since the Yakuza series is one of my favourite franchises and i follow every bit of news that comes out regarding it.

To be honest though i care much more for the localization of Yakuza 0 and Ishin than the HD remasters although of course i wouldn't mind if we got them too.

I would love for Sony to get the Phantasy Star Collection released on PSN in North America. It already has an English-language option!

Oh, and I forgot to mention.

In terms of indie games, I'd actually like them to try and target some PC strategy games that'd work on Vita/PS4 due to touch pad. I know it's not indie, but Tropico 5 is already coming.

I'd like to see things like Banished, any isometric strategy games, stuff like that come to PS4/Vita.

Hell yes Yakuza 5. The obvious next step would be Yakuza 0 and Ishin.

I never got to play Shenmue, but if they released an HD port, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
