What's the angriest you've ever become regarding Videogames?

"A Sonic the Hedgehog RPG? By BioWare?
What could possibly go wrong?
I'll pre-order it!
Hell, I'll buy two! I've got a friend that loves Sonic!"

It was quite possibly one of the worst games ever made.

-GTAV info drought (where all they did was promote MP3) & subsequent 7-month delay.
-Losing any Rocket League match via incompetent, stupid teammates.

I punched a hole right through a wall after losing a match of ranked Rocket League by one point.

One time my brother shook his Xbox 360 while it was on with Gears of War Judgement purposely in it. "This game is garbage"
I kept the chewed up disk for memories

Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest

-Want the best path and
Omega Yato
? Buy DLC.
-DLC is (currently) lackluster compared to Awakening's.
-Backstory is practically missing.
-Story and plot gets really bad midway through.
-"Talk" command is for green units. Red units cannot be "Talked" to anymore.
-You don't have a choice in who you kill. You spare certain people based on flimsy plot.
-Most characters are even more uninteresting/one-dimensional than Awakening ones.
-Some characters
just straight up die for plot reasons.
-The removal of True Hit makes the RNG really suck.
-You will hate enemies that spam Enfeeble and the Hexing Rod.
-Endgame saving
is not a thing
.
-I hated the ending.
-S-ranked couples get a non-unique ending summary.

Despite all this, I'm having more fun in Revelations.

Exp loss due to dying in Everquest. I would get frustrated trying to get my corpse and this ended leading to more mistakes and deaths. I threw my mouse against a wall but thankfully it survived.

Fuck this level on Crushing. Fuck it hard.

Destiny, Impossible Difficulty, Darkness Zone, only one wave of enemies left after 40 minutes of dodging fire, I acids tally glided off of the map to my death.

I threw my DS4 through our wall. Not into. Through.

I can't say what I was really angry about, but the next three things that come to mind are

-the recent rumors of the Ps4K
-Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth's ending
-Me3's ending

Dark Souls 2 reveal trailer more recently. Although I wouldn't say I was as much "angry" as greatly disappointed. When I was a lot younger though, I used to toss my controllers on the floor getting frustrated with specific games (Ghost 'n Goblins or Battletoads). I had a few NES and Genesis controllers that could be used as maracas.

When I beat the Grim Reaper in Persona 3 FES, only to realize that I needed to activate the sidequest first before fighting the Reaper. Needless to say, that was a very aggravating second battle.

Broken controller trying to finish gow2 on Titan mode.

This, except I was doing the "Challenge of the Gods." I didn't break my controller, but I did slam it against the ground a few times....

Also noteworthy, I made my WoW Raid Leader break his mouse (twice). Once because I walked away from the PC when a girl I knew called and I completely forgot I was playing WoW (this was mid raid...). The second time I refused to be in vent during the raid because I was also talking to the same person. Not a good thing for the Main Tank... but MTing wasn't that hard in LK anyway.

I also broke my keyboard, not out of anger but celebration, when my Linkshell finally killed Dynamis Lord in FFXI.

Maybe not THE most but I know I got very pissed when Silent Hills got cancelled.

I've also punched the walls many times during MGO2 survival.

I punched my (cheap) desk trying to perfect inMomentum. Had to add a screw or two to fix it...

Tossed my controller a few times when I tried to replay Jak II. I don't like to break my gaming stuff, so I would throw it into the couch or pillow hard, haha.

Only in those multiplayer moments when you are the top player on your team, but your team is doing terrible, to the point of frustration and knowing that you are carrying the team.

Me in TF2. Once I realize it I get frustrated. Then I usually just go some goofy combo like cleaver + sandman Scout to try and have fun and stop caring.

It's alright OP, the inevitable Shibuya world in KH3 will drum up enough interest for them to revive TWEWY 2... right?

Definitely when SMTxFE turned out to be TMS#FE. When I saw what it ended up being, my head almost exploded. I'm all about devs making what they want but this abomination Atlus came up with appeals to neither fanbase. It didn't have to be a strategy game but to take place in the Japanese entertainment industry defies all logic.

Nothing can frustrate me like NBA 2K games, and their endless pursuit of style over playability. It makes for very frustrating games.

Broke a couple of SNES controllers playing Super Street Fighter 2 back in the day. I kind of gave up on competitive gaming since. :P

Street Fighter 2, SNES, fuck you M. Bison, fuck you.

Broken controller, almost punched my fireplace and broke my hand.

Something about the SF2 games for SNES I swear, I broke 2 controllers trying to beat M.Bison in Street Fighter II Turbo, and took some swings at my desk, haha. I thought that cured me of being too competitive in fighting games until I played MvC2 in arcades and this one guy just hoarded the machine, no one could beat him, and he topped it off by being a smug jerk about it.

I'm still a little salty about Ultima IX and Deus Ex: Invisible War to this day. I wanted them to be so much better than they were, I never felt so let down especially with the endings.

I've actually never seen any gameplay before. Wow. That's something else.

Literally jumped up and down on my Dreamcast when my friend came back in a Soul Calibur team battle that I started off 7-0.

Broken controller trying to finish gow2 on Titan mode.

Broke a couple of SNES controllers playing Super Street Fighter 2 back in the day. I kind of gave up on competitive gaming since. :P

I broke a Dualshock 3 playing Killzone 2's last level on Veteran (or whatever the hardest mode is).

That fucking POS Radec lol.

You people need to follow some anger management classes!

See my started threads.

  • Getting to the helipad at the end of SNES Jurassic Park multiple times, only to be told by Ian Malcolm that there was a single raptor egg left on the island. I scoured Isla Nublar for hours each time but I could never find it. Damn game didn't have saves either, so I had to start from scratch every time I played.

  • Playing Lost Planet against Japanese players, who would spam you with stun grenades to keep you constantly immobile. Nothing quite as frustrating as a multiplayer game where the first grenade hit effectively ends the match for you.

  • Fighting Azetlor on Hard in Ghostbusters- the AI team mates kept getting knocked over and needed help, which meant that I'd have to concentrate as much on helping them back up as I was fighting the boss.

  • My friend once beat me on Street Fighter II by spamming moves and taunting me every time he landed a hit. After a few matches, I threw him out of my house- not my finest hour but I learnt an important lesson in what I considered to be acceptable conduct and I've never repeated that sort of behaviour since.

Ninja Gaiden.

Xbox.

Alma.

Busted my knuckles punching my bedpost, so I moved on to punching my thigh. When that was good and bruised up, I started punching my side/abdomen.

I beat her after a while and pissed a little blood over the next 2 days.

Nowadays I just yell nonsense obscenities at the TV.

"FUCKING CUNT-SHITTING DICK-KNOCKING MOTHERBITCHER!!!!"

ok, don't judge me Gaf, i have anger issues, although not as bad anymore. :-)

Fifa 14-
I was playing it online one evening and for 5 games in a row, against different users, every time i managed to level the score it would go laggy, opponents would walk through my defense, as the actions from my button presses were delayed on screen by about 3 seconds, and they would score, then the game would play normally, until i managed to get on equal footing again, and again, lag, walk through, goal.

On the final game that evening I ragequitted, throwing my controller at the door, which broke and left a hole in the door panel, i took the disk out and just threw it on the side, then went to bed.

After 5 minutes of calming down, or trying to, i went back downstairs, got a screwdriver and stabbed the disk repeatedly opened the back door and threw it down the garden and over the fence.

The kicker is, the next day i wanted to play it so i bought it digitally.
The missus banned me from ever owning another Fifa game again, i can only play the demo's.

Only time I remember being angry regarding videogames was when the Nosgoth title was announced. I was so pissed off that I just put away my laptop and watched tv all day. That shit just hurt to see. Breath of Fire 6 was up there as well but Nosgoth just stung so damn hard.

Discovering, after purchase, that they locked Crystal Chronicle's multiplayer behind that shitty GBA linkup gimmick.

The angriest because I'm still angry about it right now

What got me was the OST. Even the worst Sonic games have decent OSTs. Chronicles OST is so bad it's borderline insulting.

I'd say last year, P5 not being released like Atlus kept insisting, but I expected that, so it wasn't as much anger as disappointment.

I'm not sure what the angriest I've gotten was. I've gotten pissed at MLB the Show and Rocket League over the past few weeks :P

I broke my Arcade Edition disc. Fuck that game. Fuck Yun. Fuck everything.

I will never understand why I still play Street Fighter.

1. When I was very young my younger sister unplugged the N64 after I had finished defeating the 2nd dungeon in Majora's Mask. Context: I was too scared to go into dungeons and the first one was defeated by my elementary school friends for me during my birthday party. That phobia ADDED to the time limit. Man, defeating Goht with so little time to spare... and then she unplugged the N64 on purpose.

2. TWEWY Countdown, just...

3. The Murderess in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Okay
she *forces* us to go on a simple fetch quest for mere pennies, why? Simply because she wanted someone to **kill** over it even though we didn't even want to come. AND THEN we come back and that Eleanora gal is all like "yeah she already showed up and picked up the reward, good job" and then Irina instead of going "WHAT THE HECK ARREST HER SHE'S RIGHT THERE SHE JUST TRIED TO KILL US, AND GOT 3 MEMBERS OF THE MILITARY ON HER SIDE TOO AND THEY'RE DEAD AND HUMANITY IS ENDANGERED BTW" we go "lulz nice prank"
Suffice to say she was never in my party a second time and the only affinity quests I didn't do. Later on I found what I call "the male version of the Murderess" and I don't volunteer to help him in his backstabbing and then he gets killed and the party members get mad at *me* for being a jerk.

4. The Wind Waker had one of the best endings in all of video gaming atmosphere in my opinion, So how do they conclude the epic story of the Hero of Winds? Phantom Hourglass,
save Princess Peach, I mean Tetra, from the squid monster oh and btw this was a dream
. At least Linebeck was awesome.

5. Metroid Other M. That original trailer got me so hyped I *got into* and played most of the Metroid games so I was immersed in the world and lore so I would enjoy it better. I even ended up on Metroid forums and communities.

6. Epic Mickey. Man, that opening... what I wouldn't give for *that* game.
