Norton doesnt like to go away, and mcafee I havent used for years. I know staples offers a antivirus made by panda which makes stuff for small and large businesses.

You are your own antivirus software.

The least resource heavy, the quickest, and the most accurate.

Learn your PC, and you won't have a problem!

I use Norton.

haha well there is some truth to that too. Ive been using the net since I was 14 and since then ive had two viruses. The biggest problem is spyware honestly, and again, just gotta be vigilant.

i use mcafee.

I quite detest the use of norton av. It's a virus itself. You want to install the antivirus... the norton then replicates itself with other meaningless agents in the computer. Then upon uninstalling (cleaning) the norton virus, it tears parts of your computer (infected places) to shreds.

Though it did make me live without a recycle bin :p

Norton is the fucking devil. I tried to uninstall it, but it hung on uninstall, then crashed my comp. upon rebooting it gave me error messages about missing files... and still does it to this day.

Anti-Vir is good and free. Frequently updated too.

i'll get McAfee some point in the future though. Virii are getting more obnoxious, and i've heard good things about McAfee. After using Norton for years and finally uninstalling it (they wanted too much to update it), it'll be a while until i'll install it again. It killed my internet access. :(

I use NAV 2k5. I've been using NAV pretty much constantly for the past 4 years, and the only version I honestly didn't like (though I still used it) was 2k4. I found that version to be too slow and too invasive. 2k5 is a vast improvement, imho.

I have the same problem. Norton can suck it.

Trend Micros housecall online seems to work pretty well for me though.

I use Symantec antivirus. It's not too clunky.

Eset's NOD32 is the best, bar none:

http://www.nod32.com/home/home.htm

They have a free 30-day trial version; it's $40 for an annual subscription for the first year and $23 or so from there on out. As they note on the site, Microsoft themselves have renewed their license for the 4th year in a row, they have a 100% ItW rating, and from my own personal use, they've been great. I've never landed a virus and I've been all over the Net.

NAV 2k5 is pretty darn clean from what im looking at, have you seen it? On top of the interface i have 2 big buttons for live update and option, then lower i have "status" "scan for viruses" "reports", thats it. Status shows security scanning features, auto protect/worm protection/email scanning/full system scan's last date, and lower its the subscription service, expiration date and all that. Cant really be more streamlined than that.

The 2k4 version i had before though, i dont remember if it was NAV 2k4 or internet security but it was the very definition of annoying, tons of tabs, useless windows to open to get somewhere, popup messages constantly showing up (adblock's iirc) took forever to load up, etc.

Same here. 2K4 would take forever to get going, and constantly bog my system down with it's stupid fading pop ups and whatnot. 2K5 is infinitely better, and quite streamlined.

I have Norton installed, it came bundled with systemworks. I love the tools in NSW, I never use the AVS tho.

Edit: I do not see how panda can be the best. You need to use Active-X. :lol (does not know of any standalone panda)

Installed the free, German antivirus program called "Antivir". Very neat and simple--seems to be light on resources too. I like it, although Panda and Kasp are getting alot of hype around em--free is free ya know?

Vintage Erotica Anno 1950

" Vintage porn. Gotta love it. What can be said? It's old porn culled from a library in France. Video is sketchy from bad sources and no sound. Well, you can have the sound of a projector if you want. This disc is available by itself or with a box set called Vintage Erotica Collection that includes this one along with Anno 1930 and Anno 1940. It's not Rebecca Lord, but it's still interesting.

I have Panda. My friend has Kaspersky. They both rock.

PC-Cillin is simpler than Kaspersky, rocks a whole lot more than Panda. But Kaspersky rocks the hardest. :lol

If you're going to pay for an antivirus, this is the route to go. On the other hand, if you're a cheap bastard like me, just use AVG Free. :lol
