Sea World episode when they launch the whale to the moon on a mexican rocket

IT JUST WASN'T FUNNY THIS TIME!

Red Hot Catholic Love was the first episode I ever saw, and to this day it remains my favorite.

Cherokee Hair Tampons is a close second.

Seasons 1-8 are some of my favorite television ever.

Creme Fraiche has been a favourite for a while, Randy is perfect in it.

'Owww, fuck yeah'

But best?

Too hard to choose .

Such a great Ep - deconstructed mango salad, Cartman as Ramsey and the foodsex hotline killed me.

I think overall though, my favorite episode is either Awesome-O (Adam Sandler!) or Canceled (planet full of deer, planet full of Asians, and "suck my jaggon")

For more recent ones, the Informative Murder Porn episode was pretty hilarious.

But I'll always go with the classics. Seasons 1-3 will always be best.

The show is bad and you should feel bad if you think it's intelligent.

I like that Scott Tennerman one though.

Also when Randy solves that Wheel of Fortune "naggers" clue I've never seen my pops laugh so hard. The rest of the episode didn't carry it at all though.

Hell no. Those were some of the worst. Even Matt and Trey hate them. I still like them though. SP is my shit.

The Chinese announcers when they play dodgeball are freaking fantastic. One of the few bits that still really holds up well, imo. Their 'American' impressions are so freaking awesome. "Excuse me, do you have any non-dairy creamer?".

I like the nerdy ones best. They usually have a lot of clever references and society criticism without resorting to gross out tactics. Favorite ones are

Over logging
Good times with weapons
Go God go
Two days before the day after tomorrow
Make love not warcraft

Are probably my top 5

Make Love Not Warcraft, I must have seen that episode at least 20 times. It never gets old and I'm not even a fan of World of Warcraft.

Back when I was into the show my favorites were Asspen and Woodland Critter Christmas.

Haven't watched any South Park in like three or four years so maybe there's something better out.

Selecting a single best episode is really hard. I think I'd go with Good Times with Weapons though. There are so many great contenders though, Scott Tenorman Must Die, Woodland Critter Christmas, Cancelled, Make Love not Warcraft, AWESOME-O, Asspen, Casa Bonita, the list goes on and on... there's really no way to select a single best one imo.

Scott tenor man must die is my fave, followed really closely by the Warcraft episode. "How do you kill that which has no life?!"

Lol

Five way tie between Awesome-O, Tenorman, Cartmanland, Casa Bonita, Faith+1

Seriously, some South Park eps are in my GOAT television. The grasp Parker and Stone have on things escalating to insane setups that make sense in context is stunning

Casa Bonita was the first thing that popped in my head when I read the thread title. Cartman and Butters really make a great team.

So many of them that I enjoy.

Cartman Joins NAMBLA
Good Times with Weapons
Smug Alert

That Day After Tommorrow parody.

And of course, the South Park movie.

The Casa Bonita episode is even better for people who live in Denver. Hell, the whole show is a little bit funnier when a lot of jokes hit close to home. There are a lot of little touches to the show that only a person from Colorado would even notice.

The real Casa Bonita:

I was there just a few months ago, unfortunately it was pretty slow on a Saturday night. It use to be totally packed when I was a kid. Worried that it's not going to be around much longer =[

Btw, if anyone hasn't yet, I highly recommend marathoning through the series at least once. It's so interesting seeing all the side characters flesh out, and how the overall feel of the show evolved over time.

Never knew there was a real Casa Bonita lol. But, yeah Casa Bonita episode and the Fishdicks episode are two of my favs.

if any of ye haven't played Stick of Truth yet, definitely check it out. One of the funniest games I've played in awhile.

Pretty much anytime they go to Denver, they go to a real location.

edit:

Gonna throw out Rainforest Shmainforest because I haven't seen it listed yet.

Scott Tenorman Must Die.

But a couple episodes that are apparently criminally underrated judging by this thread are:
Goobacks (immigrants from a shitty future tuk r jurbs)
Krazy Kripples (Timmy and Jimmy unknowingly become Crips)

Oh, and Casa Bonita was the favorite of a guy I worked with. I blew his mind when I told him it was a real place and that I'd been there. (in 1990)

I find it pretty hard to enjoy the political ones these days because they're insanely stupid and reductive, but everything else is gold.

Trapper Keeper episode is pretty good too.
Finally someone who thinks that too.

Btw.: what is the name of the episode where Kenny dies and cartman wants to save him with stemcell research?

When he sings "heat of the moment" in front of the congress..
So good.

Impossible for me to pick just one. My Future Self n Me, Woodland Critter Christmas, Asspen, Night of the Living Homeless, Good Times with Weapons, Go God Go, Over-logging, all amazing.
