What's the current state of emulators on PSP?

I'm a total n00b at this shit. I think I understand how to put the emulators on the PSP, but how do you get roms on it? Do they have to be in a special folder, etc. And you can use any normal rom right? No special made-for-PSP roms?

Once you trust the PSP, it all gets easier.

With almost all emulators, just drop the ROMS in the same folder as the emulator program, so that when you load the program they'll all be right there. Almost all emus include a file browser of sorts, so you should be able to put them in their own folder anywhere you want. Ask again if you have any more specific concerns.

What is supposed to be the best emu for each system, especially SNES? I tried uo_Snes9x 0.02y12 and tried Zelda, Gundam Wing, and Tetris/Dr. Mario with it and they all run like shit.

I think that's the first version of it I found too. Look for a version that I think is called either .2c or .3c. Either way, it came out in late August. The one you speak of didn't work for shit. The one I speak of is currently helping me rock out the Earthbound one last time.
