What's the last physical copy PC game you bought?

Steins;Gate was the last PC release I have purchased and received. The last one I actually purchased was the Broken Age physical copy from the Kickstarter. It just hasn't been sent out to backer yet.

Dying Light, which I think was delayed physically in the UK for some reason.

Divinity: Dragon Commander a couple of weeks ago for £5.

I still buy quite a few physical PC games simply because they are cheaper than buying digitally and you are getting the digital copy anyway.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Spider-Man Shattered Dimension
Spider-Man Web of Shadow
Wanted
Wheelman
No One Lives Forever
No One Lives Forever 2

All around the same time last year.

Probably some old PC game for use on Windows 98 from a thrift store or somesuch.

I don't buy new physical PC games. I want to, but they're just glorified keys for Steam or Origin unlocks these days - the day the relevant DL service goes down, those discs are worthless. I've heard places like IndieBox are trying to eschew that, though; should look into them one of these days, I guess.

The witcher 3 collectors edition.
Before that mass effect 3 "collectors edition" (more like a metal case and a mini artbook, nothing compared to the amazing witcher 3 one).

Spore. In fact that game pretty much killed my interest in PC gaming, it was so disappointing.

Well... Armikrog I kickstarted a couple of years ago which included physical media at my backer tier. I'm probably never going to actually put the disc for Armikrog in anything though because I'm going to recieve a steam key as well.

I got Dark Souls 2 at launch "physically" as in there was a disc included with my steam key. I threw all that nonsense in the trash though.

So let's say those two games don't really count. If so I would say that it might be World in Conflict in maybe 2007/2008 or so? Not really sure but it's definitely from that time period. Discs were pretty much "teh past" on PC back then too. At least at the final stage of transitioning towards digital.

EDIT: Now I remember. There was a dirt cheap sale in 2009 or 2010 where I bought Spore and Bioshock 2 for around two dollars total. Those were probably the last two games I bought and played physically.

I got the Warlords of Draenor Collector's Edition on release. Blizzard tends to release good CEs, and the artbooks are an inspiration whenever I'm in a creative lull.

I think I grabbed the Elder Scrolls Anthology last year as well.

Sword of the Stars: The Complete Collection

because it doesn't have online DRM. I don't bother with physical copies of stuff that are completely worthless without asking for permission to play something I purchased.

The Evil Within. This year actually. Downloading 50GB games is tough on my internet connection and data cap.

I plan to eventually buy GTA V boxed as well.

Another thing to note: Some PC games end up being a lot cheaper in a physical box than digitally (not on sale). Usually the more popular games too. Skyrim Legendary Edition is like $40 on Steam when it's not on sale, but any physical copy you happen to find is $20. COD Black Ops 2 is still $59.99 on Steam and anywhere digitally, but GameStop is selling the few physical copies it has left for $15.

I believe Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 was the last physical copy of a PC game I bought, back in 2008. Been fully digital since then, even got a bunch of my old games digital since I couldn't be bothered with the CDs.

WoW: The Burning Crusade

It released the week of my mid-year final exams in high school, during which we only have half-days. Finished my exams, drove to Target, and bought two copies (one for my brother and I). I was surprised that they had a whole freaking shelf of them available, because all the talk online was how difficult it was going to be to find it in stores unless you had a pre-order since WoW was the biggest thing on the planet at the time.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and World of Warcraft

Picked them up the same day I believe, it's kind of crazy how Steam widely changed game distribution.

Baldur's Gate 4 in 1 boxset...

It doesn't even run right...waste of money. Should've bought the enhanced port instead, but nooooo, I had to have my physical shit. =_=
