What's the most British video game ever made?

Hard to say really. Considering that over 30% of today's gamin companies originated in the UK, loads have British traits :)

HENRY HATSWORTH. No contest.
My word, just listen to him speak. Its a language concocted entirely of British mannerisms and sounds and no real sentences. Its like if Zelda gibbers from NPC's had an accent.

Bloody Cheggers will do anything for a paycheque.

Just be thankful he doesn't get his willy out in this.

The Speccy was a veritable trove of very British games, for obvious reasons.

I submit this one, by my beloved Don Priestley (author of Trap Door, perhaps my favorite Spectrum game):

The man was a sorcerer when it came to creating huge, detailed, colorful sprites on the ZX with almost no color clash.

From Wikipedia:

Gameplay[edit]
The player controls the flunky as he moves around Buckingham Palace, carrying out orders that members of the Royal Family will give him. The flunky can only be given one task to do at a time. The solutions needed to complete the tasks range from the correct use of items in the correct places to tasks requiring skillful playing more reminiscent of action games.

Royals[edit]
The members of the Royal Family who are featured in this game include:

The Prince of Wales
Diana, Princess of Wales
The Duke of York
The Duchess of York
The Queen

Probably this? Doctor Who is as British as it gets. I didn't know they even made a Wii or DS game based off of the license. It didn't see the light of day in the US.

Gameplay-wise - isometric perspectives or challenging 2D platformers with meandering, maze-like levels and lots of collectibles instantly make me think "British".
