What's the most "overblown"/"overdesigned" pizza you've eaten?

I once had a pizza/pie hybrid thing. Like it was a pizza with a thin layer of pastry on top, with mince meat and gravy in between. Even had peas. IIRC, it tasted pretty strange, but alright.

It's surprisingly less guilt & indigestion-inducing than the Pizza Hut one, as I've eaten a meat lovers pizza before. And lol awesome.

I mean the cheeseburger pizza lol

And yeah when I first looked at the pic I thought it was meatlovers. What does meatlovers look like over there?

I think Pizza Hut here did hotdog crust pizzas for a while. Because when I think of stuffed crusts for my pizza, I immediately think of some of the worst examples of edible meat available.

Who on earth thought that was a good idea, I'll never know.

I had an Oktoberfest themed pizza with brats, sauerkraut, apples, and maybe some other stuff. I didn't care for it.

Bonus points if you liked it.

I honestly want to try out Pizza Hut's Cheeseburger Pizza. It's currently available locally so I thought I might wanna dive into it. Who knows, maybe it would be good. Besides, it's not like I'll eat it alone.

I would probably cleanse my diet afterwards, but no harm in trying out one slice.

If you don't mind my asking, where are you from Boss Doggie?

Pizza Hut's "Mexicana" pizza, which is no longer offered by my nearest store (at the least), was awful:

It didn't help that the chips, in the two or three times I tried it, were stale.

Domino's Australia recently introduced the cheese-stuffed crust which is fine initially but quickly solidifies into a processed "tube" that's not flattering to the buds. That said, though, I've always been intruiged by the hot dog-stuffed crust offered in other countries:

I made a pizza at work that cost over 50 dollars that had triple pepperoni, triple sausage, onions, double garlic, double mushrooms, meatballs, olives, triple bacon, roasted red peppers, jalepenos, peppercinis, and one other weird ingredient, I think pineapple?

Who the fuck would buy a single pizza for over 50 dollars? What an idiot/the greatest person who ever lived.

This is a thing if you go further north in Sweden. It's a hamburger meal inside a calzone (folded pizza).

That's a bit too much for my taste, but I do like the occasional kebab pizza or pineapple/banana/curry pizza.

Came to post this its called a Calskrove and i can be bought in Skellefteå.

Yeah we have cheese stuffed crust and hot dog crust from Pizza Hut in the UK. I quite like the barbecue variety of the cheese stuffed crust; basically there is barbecue sauce around the cheese; not too much, but enough that it's not just bland crust and cheese.

The hot dog one is insane, far too much for one person to consume considering there's a pizza in the middle. They literally lay hot dogs end to end around the inside of the crust (like in your picture, rather than facing outwards like in other photos in this thread).

Man the PIzza Hut Meatlovers Bacon Cheeseburger pizza circa 2001 in Manila was the bomb. I used to order those for lunch at my job...
Share it with the office..
I'm fat. ..

Sigh... I hate you 20 year old me.

Anchovies, pineapple, jalapenos, pepperoni and mushrooms is my favorite pizza. It's not exactly overblown but I have had some people say it's weird

my girlfriend had a breakfast pizza at this one local place and it consisted of:

Huevos Rancheros: Habanero queso, black beans, roasted red peppers, avocado and scrambled eggs topped with salsa

and it was so dense that the crust just flopped apart (and it's a pretty sturdy crust). way too much.

Meat Lovers looks the same in the US as it does in the Philippines, but I think it's the extra grease in the Pizza Hut pizza that made me barely finish two slices. Whereas the Carne from Zachary's, I can spread a medium across four days easily if I'm just eating a few slices and it's surprisingly not as greasy.

That is my favorite pizza except for the anchovies. I may need to try anchovies on the next one to see if I like it!

Got a slice.

Man a slice can really fill you up. It's tasty too.

Ah I see. Yeah the grease is annoying.

I once had a pizza that was so big it didn't fit through the door without tilting it 45deg. Each slice seemed to be more than double a big plate lol

I wonder if that combo meal in a pita is eaten normally (peeling the pita off and eating the insides) or if you're supposed to eat it like a burrito.

Wow, I've yet to see that lol

Well, I haven't eaten it, but that's by far the worst pizza I have ever seen:

The website that came from has someone who failed at cooking fish sticks and then proceeds to say fish sticks are bad. What a failure. Hell they even have game fuel on there as something that's supposedly gross. Those people have no taste.

It seems like the further you get away from italy the more unholy things emerge that are called Pizza.

Some things here look really intersting, but most of the stuff I would not want to eat! Keep it going

And to add the most overblown pizza I ate was something called Pizza carbonara: Which was Pizza dough with a creamsauce, small stripes of ham and mushrooms. I ate half of it and then quit.

Looks like a pizza someone laid.

Even here we are starting to get absurd pizzas. I present to you the Kebab Pizza:

It's pretty good lol

Kebab pizza is pretty common in Sweden, although I've never seen one with french fries on it before (I've seen plenty others that have though). Kebab is the one I have when I don't trust the pizza place enough to have my regular pizzas. Anyone can make a decent kebab pizza.

Interesting, I didn't even know that pizza in general was common in Sweden!

A friend of mine who works at a local pizzeria makes a "Thanksgiving pizza" with turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole toppings. It was... special.

I never thought my hunger for Friday Night Pizza could ever be assaulted as such.

still I press onward barf bag in tow.

I thought that was a Full English breakfast on a pizza. And then I saw it was corn not beans. And now I don't even know what the fuck any of that is.

Joe Mama's Pizza, The Incinerator:

Spicy red sauce, sliced hot link, pepperoni, salami, ham, crushed black pepper, diced jalapeños, sliced habaneros, a ghost pepper sriracha and a wasabi swirl

Shared this with a friend. It was so damn good. Not insanely hot.

Man vs Food did an episode on it as well. I could never eat an entire pizza, especially not this one.
