Also Felicity was never ever portrayed as ugly. Awkward? Hell yes, but never ugly.

It's suggested or at least implied that she's not attractive. Hence why Ollie and Co. are all like "DAMN" when she puts on a dress. And why Laurel and her sister are supposed to be these ultra hotties that Felicity can't compete with despite the fact that she's like the hottest person on the show. GTFO CW!

This is only tangentially related but I am watching Danger 5 for the first time and just about every woman on the show is gorgeous. They're almost distractingly beautiful at times. I think it's supposed to be a gag.

I mean what were the logistics of getting all these beautiful woman on the same set at once?

Felicity and Caitlin are made more endearing by the writers trying to portray them as awkward and nerdy despite them being absolute knockouts.

The one exception to the CW rule was Lemon in Hart of Dixie. Jamie King looked great in Sin City, but it looks like she was struggling with an eating disorder in the first two seasons of this show, she was almost scarily underweight.

It was kind of hard to buy her being the most desirable and popular woman in town.

Meh, people who post Felicity pictures in a CW thread clearly have no idea.
No idea at all.

Felicity is not even in the top 10 when it comes to physical beauty on CW standards.
Half of the female cast of Vampire Diaries/Originals come to mind. Then of course, there is Flash, or not to mention Raven from The 100, or I could go on.... Felicity is cute, but not THAT cute. Imho, of course. It is subjective, but still.
