What's your favorite Switch eShop title so far?

Wonder boy, it's amazing, looks great in the switch's screen as well as on the TV, sounds and music are great, it gets hard but is very rewarding. Loved every second of it.

Mr Shifty - fun as heck, little bit of slowdown when it gets hectic. Basically Hotline Miami focused on melee combat and teleporting. Short game.

Snake Pass

Kamiko - a bit annoying IMO, wish you didn't drop the items you carry if an enemy hits you once.

Shovel Knight Treasure Trove - Already played Shovel Knight and Plague Knight. Worth it just to replay those AND play Spectre Knight. Love this game.

I have graceful explosion my brother loves it mainly been playing Zelda. Atm I'd say Puyo Puyo or Snipperclips

Shovel knight specter of torment. It's incredible.

That said, releases for eshop since launch ha e been all pretty amazing. Good curation of content all around.

Only gotten Snake Pass on the eshop, but I really like it!

Really solid graphics (a bit low res, but still nice to look at) and really unique gameplay.

'Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap' and 'Snipperclips' are easily the most memorable experiences I have played on the Nintendo Switch.

I've played the most out of Fast RMX and love that to death, but it'd have to be a tie between that and Snipperclips.

Snipperclips is soooooooooo good.

I'm gonna say has been heroes. I know it has a physical release but it's only available at game stop and limited.

that game is amazing. the reviews were wayyyyy off the mark

Another vote for Wonder Boy. Should be the gold standard for remasters.

I also enjoyed Shovel Knight: Specter Of Torment.

Of the ones that would count, I have Puyo, Bomberman (physical), Setsuna, Blaster Master, Sam Sho IV, KoF 98, and Metal Slug 3. If I count Bomberman since its physical, then I would say that, but if not, its a toss up between Metal Slug 3 or Puyo. I'm actually really surprised that i've dumped as many hours into the Neo Geo games as I have. I haven't played any of the 3 I have before, and so far they have been really, really good. They have been an incredible value for just 8 bucks.

Incredible game.

Favorite so far? I think its probably:

Or Voez, not sure which one I like more. Both of them have great little bites of gameplay and music, so they rank really highly for me. GEM is also high on my list but I enjoy(ed) these two more.

Is this not a Hyper Light Drifter rip off? It looks like one.

Wonderboy just ahead of Graceful Explosion Machine.

It's not only the big AAAs that have been killing it so far this year. These smaller indie titles have been fantastic in 2017.

Kamiko and Tumbleseed will be my next purchases.

Thanks for this thread. I just finished Zelda and I wasn't sure what to get next. I might try Snake Pass, but I have a physical copy of I am Setsuna that I should play first before I spend more money.

I only have Snipperclips and Blaster Master Zero.

I think BMZ is great and while frustrating, I think it does what Metroid tries to do better than every Metroid game I've ever played.

I do not like Snipperclips.

So Blaster Master Zero wins... unless we're also counting Shovel Knight, which I played on my Wii U... I still probably might give it to BMZ though

Wonder Boy. I've never played it before this version but it had me completely hooked from start to finish. Something no other Switch title besides Zelda has been able to do yet.

Don't make us choose. :(

There hasn't been a single dud yet among the new games that have been released for the Switch.

I put 70 hours in Has-Been Heroes because it was so satisfying to build out your characters every run, I love going for those S+ scores in GEM, the platforming in Specter of Torment is really satisfying, Snipperclips is a great co-op game, Snake Pass has a unique way of traversing the world and I also enjoyed Mr. Shifty, Blaster Master Zero, Voez, Fast RMX.

World of Goo is also a great fit even though it's a port of an old game, as are the Neo games.

But I suppose I have to go with Has-Been Heroes because I was so addicted to it for more than a week and just couldn't put it down. Almost didn't buy the game because of the initial reception too. Specter and GEM for runners up.

I can't wait for more output on the eShop.

It's interesting how pretty much every eshop release has found fans so far. Maybe this will go away once more games are out and launch momentum has dwindled down but it must be a good time for those developers.

I can only vouch for Wonder Boy, but boy is that game amazing. Just look a the OT OP to be convinced. It can be challenging, but having better equipment helps a lot. Once you realize there are no checkpoints, you start playing a bit more carefully.

Graceful Explosion Machine and Snake Pass are my next purchases. Kamiko seems hard to pass up on at €5 as well. I played Shovel Knight already, but never tried the expansions.

Has Been Heroes is pretty great for me so far, I wonder why the negativity on it tho? It is receiving good reviews on Steam.

Does Puyo Puyo Tetris count?

This needs to be installed on every Switch out there.

tbh I don't see a reason to buy the game with the demo existing

Been looking for another Switch game so I might get Wonder Boy. Other stuff mentioned doesn't really look too interesting to me.
