What's your favourite Uncharted game?

2 - 1 - 4 - 3

I enjoyed the gameplay, coop multiplayer and survival in U2, and at the time U1 was amazing but has not aged so well. I put more hours in 2 than all the rest combined.

4 was a great story with Nate, sully and Elena superb characters,,,,,let down by poor baddies (I liked them, I need to hate and want to kill baddies, not team up with competitors that seemed approachable). Sam was just OK.

4>2>3>1

4 and 2 are really close but i prefer the pacing and story of 4. UC1 has aged pretty poorly but there's still some charm to it.

1 > 2 > 3 > 4

More than any of the other games the first Uncharted felt like a real place I was exploring, and that has stuck with me more more than all the set pieces and location hopping.

Uncharted 3 may have been somewhat forgettable but at least it didn't anger me like 4 did. Putting my control and pacing issues aside, there's a point in 4 where it seems like the narrative forgets that Uncharted is an adventure game. How do you have your playable character contemplate quitting and going home with the endgame right in front of him. I've invested 10+ hours into this and you're telling me my character wants to peace out now? When that happened I just wanted Nathan to fuck off home and for the game to let me play as Sam to wrap this thing up. I think I checked out of the story at that point.

Drake's Fortune benefits from having the same location throughout the whole game, a smaller cast of characters, and having a lot of great humor and banter.
My man.

I dont know yet, I'm still in the honeymoon phase with UC4.

UC2 has the best pacing.

UC4 has way better combat (traversal/gunplay), more fun puzzles and the most interesting treasure hunt. Also Rafe is one of my favorite villains in the franchise, his voice actor did such an amazing job.

UC2/UC4 > 1 > 3

Preface, not a big Uncharted fan

4 >>> 2 > 3

4 still got problems. The climbing sections drags on too long and continues to fail to engage or challenge (as they always have), even with the addition of the legitimately fun rope mechanic. The exploration has it's high points, particularly the car sections, but ultimately it is dragged down by a lack of interesting things to find, Drakes slow movement speed, simple, repetitive and boring puzzle sections, and it's own long-windedness.

That said the story, the visuals, the villains and the combat elements are the best in the series.

Nadine especially is a great addition, but she could have used more screen time for her character development.

Lastly, the gun play is actually, for the first time in the series, decent - there's maybe a bit too little of it but after the unending mediocrity that was Uncharted combat before this, that's still a big upgrade in my book.

4 - 8/10
2 - 6/10
3 - 5.5/10

2,4,3,1

Seems to be a common view, I was inspired after getting the platinum on 4 to go back and play the Uncharted Collection as I've not played them all in years.

Just about to start 2 again, hope it lives up to my memory of it.

Haven't played 4 yet, but def 2. 1 was kinda eh and 3 felt like a complete retread of 2. I couldn't believe it when I finished 3. The level design and bullet sponge enemies were so frustrating. I loved the ship turning over set piece, but that scene had been spoiled prior to release, so it wasn't as impactful. And every enemy in the level had ridiculous body armor and took forever to kill. 2 was like damn, they nailed it. It felt like a legitimate journey, not bouncing around the world from set piece to set piece.

And the MP from 2 was god tier and hasn't been topped. I have so many fond memories of it.

Uncharted 3 truly the Dark Souls 2 of this franchise(with UC2 = DS1/TLOU = BB/UC4 = DS3), damn near nobody's favorite. I think I've seen UC1 get more first place votes, somehow

I played them each once at time of release.

Enjoyed 1 and 4 the most, thought 2 was pretty overrated and 3 was the worst one.

2 - 1 - 3 - 4

UC4 was an absolute slog and the pacing was the worst of any UC game. It's the prettiest, sure. Next time if they want to make a movie they should just make a movie instead of making an interactive movie like UC4.

Among Thieves > Drake's Fortune > Drake's Deception

Don't plan on playing A Thief's End but I'm sure it would rate above UC3 at least.

4 is the one I finished the fastest and never hit any parts that frustrated the hell out of me so it's definitely my favorite. It's also downright gorgeous.

4-2-1-3

IMO, they improved every new instalment so my order is:

4 > 3 > 2 >1.

But, strangely enough, i played them in the following order:

3 -> 2 -> 1 -> 4

Never played UC Collection on PS4.

The first will always be my favorite. I preordered it and it's the game that got me into the series and characters. Sure, it's not as tight as 2 in almost all ways but it holds a special place in my heart. My order is 1,2,4,3.

2 and 4 are really close for me. It's hard. 2 has tighter pacing and better action, but 4 has great action as well and a sense of exploration and "chill" that I also liked, as well as impressively designed larger environments and combat scenarios.

They're pretty much tied for me I guess.

Uncharted 4 is the undisputed king *(At least in my opinion!)

3 and 2 are pretty close for me. I liked 3 a lot more than most people did so take that into account.

1 was a great game, but Naughty Dog definitely learned from some mistakes in that game.

So....

4>2=3>1

After playing them multiple times i have to say each one surpassed the one before. 4 is the best, 3 had some crazy moments like the plane and the cruise ship, 2 had great characters and 1 just is near and dear to my heart because it started it all.

Uncharted 4 by a mile.
The only good treasure hunting adventure game in ages with a good narrative and beliavable characters. One thing that made me like it more than others, was the fact that the game dont have "fantasy" enemies, like all other uncharted games (zombies, yetis, flaming skull soldiers) also the boss fight can be hard but is not a overpowered boss like in Uncharted 2. So annoying bullet sponge boss fights.

I also think each new Uncharted was better than the previous one with U2 and U3 being really close. So to me:
U4>>>U3>U2>>U1

U2>U1>U4>U3
Uncharted 4 has too many pacing issues and focus on non challenging platforming hurts the game so much. U3 with its shitty encounter design and and non existent enemy hit reaction is more replaybe game even though its a worse game than U4

Why the hate for 3? Playing through Nathan Drake collection and 1 definitely hasn't aged well. I enjoyed it immensely when I played it way back but on replay it was pretty boring and the areas were dull. 2 was as great as I remembered. I just started 3 and honestly I don't remember a thing about the game except the woman villain but I remember enjoying it when I played first and so far about 25% through its pretty good.

I'd definitely rank 2>>3>>>>>>1

I was going to say UC2, but having completed UC4 recently I'm going with that. I liked the slower pace of it all, and the better exploration. Also, the use of better stealth mechanics made it a ton of fun to experiment in combat encounters and the story was definitely my favorite!

I really can't tell. It's weird, I like all the games the same I think. Maybe 4 gets a little edge over the others...
But 3 had the best set pieces by far. Loved them so much...if it wasn't for the weak ending (the whole
lost city
was extremely disappointed, especially after 2's) it would've been my favorite.

U2=U4>UGA>U1>U3

Really weird list for me.

Uncharted 2, at the time, was a masterpiece and the only game that has come close to that for me was Uncharted 4. Not as well paced as U2, but I thought the overall quality was better, especially the ending.

Golden Abyss gets a bad rap, but man, I remember being absolutely blown away by this game. Played it day one and that game alone made the Vita worth it for me. Not only that, that game has my favorite Drake and Sully moment in the series for me.

Uncharted 1 feels like a first game in the series and admittedly each game has surpassed it in quality, but this game hold a special place in my heart for being such a fun adventure that still feels the most focused.

Uncharted 3... Man, Uncharted 3. Not a bad game, but incredibly disappointing. Played it day one (pre-aim patch) and hated, hated, hated the encounter design in that game. I remember "The Settlement" chapter almost making me quit. Not only that, the set-pieces, while good, were no better than U2's. Hell, some were even lifted from U2. I haven't played it since I originally finished it, so I might feel differently once I finally play it again, but as of now, disappointment is the thing that holds this game back for me.
