What's your most watched movie?

Office Space, maybe. There was a period of time shortly after release that I watched the ever living hell out of it. It was comforting in a weird way.

The Shawshank Redemption might be a contender too. It's a long-ish film, but that shit was essentially played on a loop on TNT/TBS back in the day, and it was difficult to resist. I wasn't alone in this. (Last Action Hero on HBO, which was seemingly on every day for a few months there, also had this effect, but lets not get into that lol)

Also, The Goonies and Friday. I could quote those films verbatim at one point.

I don't rewatch many films nowadays unfortunately(outside of falling asleep to), but I definitely spent a lot of time doing that during my teenage/early adulthood years.

OT Star Wars trilogy.

But I feel like the real answer might be some animation movie that I watched all the time as a kid. Emperors New Groove, Prince of Egypt, Toy Story.

Wow at the people who have watched a movie 100+ times. I was never into collecting DVDs so my tops is probably 5. Aliens, Pink Floyd The Wall, Blues Brothers, Wizard of Oz, Jurassic Park, maybe a couple of others. Too much good stuff to be watching something a 100 times.

Probably Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story. There was a solid year back when it came out, where I played it every night going to sleep. I had the entire film memorized at one point.

I don't really rewatch films anymore thanks to youtube. I will lookup scenes and watch those.

It's probably a toss-up between Dawn of the Dead 78 and Ghostbusters.

I bought Shattered Glass a few weeks ago and watched that about 4 times over a week. I don't know why. Good movie.

I am incapable of getting sick of Robocop. It is never not entertaining for me no matter how many times I watch it (which is *a lot*).

I can't believe I forgot Robocop. Maybe because I don't consider it a movie but rather an art form all of its own.

Since it came out it's been Scott Pilgrim vs The World, I watch it at least 5 times a year. Before that probably The Matrix or Gladiator.

I had forgotten, but my brother recently reminded me we used to have a projector at home when we were little kids.
It played actual..film reels. Small ones obviously.

That was before vhs, like 1980.

We had a few movies including Star Wars, which was being played almost daily, I'm told. Yeah, we probably still have the reels somewhere..

Other than that:
Trading Places simply because it's on TV every year for Christmas and it has become some sort of tradition.

The ones we intentionally replayed over and over are Tim Burton's Ed Wood, Roberto Benigni and Massimo Troisi legendary Non ci resta che piangere.
Urusei yatsura 2: beautiful dreamer
Nausicaa
Akira

Since my daughter was born I must have watched 101 Dalmatians 20 times at least.

Dr. Strangelove or Taxi Driver.

I'm a person who absolutely hates watching most movies more than once. But I watch the above two at least once a year.

It's probably Empire Strikes Back but it miiiiiight be ALIENS?

I used to put the ALIEN trilogy on (VHS & DVD) as background noise when I went to sleep for awhile.

The Thing, Tremors or Demolition Man.

Dawn of the Dead 78 has to be up there too.

Funny, for me it was the Dawn' remake. Snyder's best film in my opinion. I've also seen Shaun of the Dead and Blade 2 so many times I lost count.

For years, I'm talking almost a decade, whenever I went out drinking as soon as I got home I'd throw on one of the above films.

Home Alone. I watched it every year when I was a kid/teenager and even now I sometimes watch it around Christmas time with my family. :)

I'm with you completely and like I said I really admire the movie. It's crazy how authentic everything in the film feels and Spielberg has a great eye for detail and not even any of the humor in the film feel out of place. Also the performances really stay with you, especially Fiennes whose chilling performance is high on my all time list.

Your names reminds me Big Lebowski should be on my list as well.May end up at the very top.

I can't really rewatch movies these days. I think I grew out of that.

But when I was younger I used to put Monty Python and The Holy Grail on all the time. Even to fall asleep.

i rarely watch movies more than once anymore so most of the movies i've seen loads of times are from when i was younger. toy story 1/2, lion king, pokemon 1-3, titanic, jurassic park, free willy, harry potter, lord of the rings.

Rush Hour

These are my top watched movies, i could not tell you which one ive seen more though.

At least 30 times minimum each.

I watched waynes world 1&2 once a week every week during the summer of 99, and countless times before and after

Enter the dragon, my dads favourite film of all time, and i've seen it at least 50 times with him if not more, as well as at least 20 times by myself.

The first Matrix - I watched that 3 days in a row when i got it for a christmas present in 99, and i became so obsessed with it.

Now though, i'd say the past 2-3 years i cant even bring myself to watch these movies again (maybe someday in the future though), im too busy faffing about online, watching stuff on youtube, twitch, listening to music and watching movies i have never seen etc.
