What's your oldest Steam game?

I'm ashamed.

10 Jan, 2011 Condition Zero Steam Store
20 May, 2010 Portal - Complimentary (Opt In) Complimentary
17 Jan, 2005 Half-Life 2 Retail Standard Complimentary

These 3 for first retail, free and bought.

December 7th, 2003 - Half Life Platinum Pack. Swore I got my steam account day one, I remember having Steam beta. It's come a long way, I didn't really start buying games on Steam until about '09.

Launch day Half Life 2. Setup my account and installed via disks. I remember the patch taking forever to install over my 56k.

I used to literally have Steam installed because I bought Half-Life 2. I bought it in 2006, GOTY edition. My next Steam games were the ones in The Orange Box.

I didn't buy any actual Steam games from the Steam store until 2008.

First activation was:

21 Feb, 2009 Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II Retail

My First actual purchase on the service was 2011 for an add-on to Napoleon: Total War.

Lol.

9/30/04 Half-Life. Most likely I redeemed the key at that time because I already owned the game. I think someone had stolen my key by the time I redeemed, which I remember being a mild pain in the ass.

It must be Half-Life and Counter Strike.
I remember i downloaded steam in its beta phase.
All my friends hated the client back then. If i recall CS 1.6 launched around the same time. I was hyped because of the new weapons :)
I guess you can say i have an eye for what is becoming great :p

Half-Life 1. I registered my Half-Life 1 CD on my steam account long before I ever owned Counter Strike or Half-Life 2.

"25 Apr, 2006 Half-Life Platinum Pack"

Yeah, I was a little late to Steam. I hated it when it was first introduced and to be honest, I didn't buy HL2 until Episode 1 was released. I was going through some weird "Fuck Steam and fuck Valve" protest when HL2 was released.

Half-Life 2. The only reason why I downloaded this software called Steam. Amazing how Valve has turned the tide of PC gaming...

Half Life 1 Anthology, 1st May 2010.

It's actually more expensive for me now at full price than it was then (was $15 US, it's now $30 NZ)

Half Life 2 - 11/17/2004

I had dial up back then so I really hated Steam since it took longer to unlock the game then to install it.

17 Jun, 2005 Half-Life 2 Retail Standard

I still had dial up then so updating steam sucked :(

Got broadband in Dec 2005

2009 I started buying steam games from the store...
I have 400+ games now, but 50% of those are humble bundles I bet

Do I get anything meaningful out of it? Is my account worth more? lol

I remember that I actively hated Steam back then and didn't want to register HL1

I can't check when because at work but I know the first game I purchased on my steam was morrowind, it was also the first game in my backlog of unplayed steam games.
