Nokia N900
Galaxy Note 2
Nokia N900 (same one)
Blackberry Passport
???

Next will probably be an iPhone, in particular if they win that FBI case. But that's hopefully years away (the 3 phones listed above cover the last 6 years)

iPhone 4
Samsumg Galaxy Note 4 (current)

Thats it :/

Before smartphones, I recall having an old Nokia, some LG flip phone, and a Sony Ericsson slider phone.

2009 - iPhone 3G
2011 - iPhone 4
2013 - iPhone 5
2015 - Galaxy S5 (current)

Motorola Q

iPhone 5S
iPhone 6
iPhone 6S

Personal

Apple iPhone 3G
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
LG Nexus 4
LG Nexus 5
OnePlus One
Motorola Nexus 6 - My favorite phone while I had it, we need more 6+" phones
Huawei Nexus 6P

Work

Blackberry Bold
Samsung Note 4
Apple iPhone 6+

iPhone 3G
HTC Desire
Samsung Galaxy S2
Samsung Galaxy S3
LG Nexus 5
Next up.....Probably a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro but I'm undecided right now.

Some Sony Xperia.
Some Samsung Galaxy.

The usefulness to annoyance of carrying around ratio is too great. Prime use is just checking feedly in the morning and as a XBMC remote, so I don't foresee an upgrade happening anytime.

Toshiba Portege G810 (Winmo 6.1)
Xperia Tipo
Moto G2.

I don't like spending money in phones, so my experiences with cheap crap have been si bad that after the Toshiba I went back to a normal phone (Nokia C3720). Still the best phone I've had, just that noa being able to use whatsapp was cutting me from the rest of the world.

Nokia 6288 (one of the best phones ever, had it for more than 6 years til it died randomly. Served me well)
Nokia 5800 Xpress Music (meh)
Acer Liquid (6 months and it died. Meh. Also battery was getting sun levels of hot just by using it. Also first and last experience with Android phones)
iPhone 4 (I was literally amazed)
iPhone 5
iPhone 6S+ (good god best phone ever for me)

Nokia 6XXX (regular cell phone. still works)

v

HTC wildfire (2011, on sale)
iPhone 4 (2012, got for free at work)
iPhone 6 (2015, got as a gift)

Motorola Droid 2
Galaxy S3
Galaxy Note 4

Next will be whatever flagship still has a removable battery and SD card slot... Or the Note 6 because I'm a consumer whore

Samsung Focus
Nokia Lumia 920
Nokia Lumia 925 (Insurance replacement for the 920 after a broken screen)
iPhone 6

I really enjoyed Windows Phone while I had, but I was tired of dealing with the lack of app support.

Good god, here we go...

IPhone 5s (32GB)

Wheew.

Since my university and home had WiFi, most of the years of smart phones I had a couple generations of iPod touches (pre-ordered the first gen) until service providers got reasonable with their pricing structures. Bought the 5s like new for $300 12 months after it launched, right as everyone was selling theirs for a 6. I plan to do the same for a 7s, perhaps.

Galaxy S4
HTC One M9

I jumped into the smartphone game later than most. Average life span is looking to be 2 years per phone. Not sure where I'll go next. For the first 6 months the One M9 was infallible but now I'm seeing the shortcomings.

HTC Diamond - Awful
iPhone 3GS - Awesome
Galaxy S3 - Awful
HTC One M7 - Awesome
HTC One M8 - Mixed Bag
iPhone 6 - Mixed Bag
Galaxy Note 5 - Mixed Bag
iPhone 6S - Awesome
Nexus 6P - Mixed Bag
Galaxy S7 Edge - Awesome

Samsung Galaxy SII
My first smartphone back in 2011. Wonky firmware updates coupled with a terrible battery and mobile internet plan nearly made me swear off smartphones. I wasn't going to touch a Samsung phone after this.

iPhone 5c, 32gb
Jumped ship and got a new provider. Hands-down my favorite phone ever. Did everything I wanted it to, and had a nice form factor that fits easily in my hand.

iPhone 6S, 128gb
Upgraded my 5c after the 2-year contract period. I made sure I got an open line model as I was moving abroad. I like it, but not as much as I did the 5C. Although the wider screen is pretty nice. I plan to use this phone until I'm basically forced to upgrade in 4-5 years.

Originally an Apple hater, I now foresee myself buying only iPhones in the near future.

Motorola Flipout
4Sb8bVZ.jpg
LG Nexus 4
LG G4

ZTE Blade - one of those "just as good as a flagship but at a fraction of the price" pieces of shit that people push on forums. Slow, awful battery, the screen was so bad you could clearly see the digitiser in it.

LG Optimus 7 - great little Windows Phone 7 device. The only problem was the metal casing got really hot when making calls. Then Microsoft bought Nokia and threw WP7 under a bus and there really seemed no point in continuing to invest in their eco system.

iPhone 4S
iPhone 6

HTC Fuze
iPhone 3G
Samsung Galaxy Note
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
LG Nexus 4
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
iPhone 6S Plus
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge

Samsung Infuse 4G
HTC One (M7)
LG Nexus 4 (can't remember where in the timeline I had it)
IPhone 5s
IPhone 6+
IPhone 6s

Too many but the ones below I had for a reasonable time.

Nokia E63
Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 mini pro
LG optimus 2x
HTC trophy 7
Sony Xperia S
Lumia 920
HTC One M7
Sony Xperia Z
Lumia 1520
Sony Xperia Z2
IPhone 6
HTC desire eye
HTC one E9+

iPhone 3G (awesome, resilient, original usb still kinda works lol)
iPhone 5 (power button stopped working after a year, battery dies at 20-40% all the time, and I've had to replace the lightning cable 3 times)

never used a case before too they get some serious wear.

iPhone3G - Amazing. First smartphone. Internet was incredibly slow but who cares? Goodbye Mapquest printouts. Battery life was horrible.
iPhone4 - Needed an upgrade. At the time the best phone on the market. Horrible battery life.
GalaxyS3 - Probably the best phone I've ever had. This beast is still running. Flashed 6.0 on it. The screen was so much bigger than anything the iPhone offered at the time. My first LTE phone. So glad to get off of Edge and 3G internet. Had to monitor battery life all the time. Power saving mode was on all the time.
GalaxyS5 - Needed an upgrade. Lucky to be able to root with 4.4. Incredibly mad I can't unlock the bootloader. The battery has always been go to me. Survived water immersion multiple times. Don't have much bad to say about this phone. Did the job well. First smartphone I didn't have to think about the battery at all during my daily use.
GalaxyS7Edge/Note6/Nexus6P/LGG4???? - Don't know what phone I want. Do I take the sexy new phone with the S7Edge? Do I go the Google Nexus route with the Nexus? Do I go with the awesome modular design with the G4? Leaning towards the S7Edge or Note6.

Acer Liquid somethingsomething
Alcatel OneTouch somethingsomething

...yeah, not a fan of smartphone gaming so I only use them for FB/WhatsApp/Google Maps and some general browsing. Don't need a fancy €600 phone for that.

Last non smartphone was a LG enV then went to a ...

Blackberry Storm
iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4
Samsung Droid Charge
iPhone 5
iPhone 5s
Moto X
iPhone 6 Plus
iPhone 6s Plus

Moto X was for 2 days. Samsung was for 2-3 days because it had LTE and I couldn't wait for Apple. The battery life was terrible and Bluetooth audio dropped nonstop and the android music apps were so bad.
