Where have you played more: On consoles/PC or handheld/mobiles?

Handhelds. When Pokémon wasn't the shadow of its former self as it is today, I used to spend hundreds of hours playing those games. I had all of Nintendo's handhelds plus the Vita. I wouldn't trade any of them for a console.

Without WoW it's Consoles > Handhelds > PC

With WoW it's PC > Consoles > Handhelds

I don't play any other game on PC besides WoW

PC because it has World of Warcraft. Nothing comes remotely close.

edit: that's historically

Current would be console more than PC. Handheld and Mobile would barely even show up on my map.

98% PC 1% mobile/tablet 1% console - console basiclaly for couch co op when I have company and have nothign ready on PC.

Lifetime: consoles

This year: PC

I would say this year I spent 55% on PC , 40% on consoles and portables , and 5% on mobile.

Almost exclusively PC. There's a bit of handhelds (less and less, though) and even less consoles. Hardly anything on mobile, too.

This generation has been PC, for sure.

And I'm getting an itch to play the Fallout games, so I'm sure that's not changing soon..

Over my lifetime? Consoles for sure. The past 7 years though? PC easily.

Yea this is pretty much me. Started with Master system and got atleast 1 console for every gen but in the last 5 years has been almost 100% PC with a couple of 3ds games in between.

Handheld.

Game Boy to be exact.

Kirby's Pinball Land if you want specifics.

Given the number of hours I've put in it, probably about 99/1 ratio: Kirby's Pinball Land / Everything else

Oh over my lifetime, consoles by FAR. Not even close. Probably 90-95% of the hours.

Second place would probably be the PC, just from a lot of AD&D Gold Box games, Ultima VI and Ultima VII. Handhelds are a little sliver of hours in last place.

I grew up on console, so it used to be:

Consoles > handheld > PC

Once PC gaming took off for me, it became:

PC > consoles > handheld

I started PC gamimg around 14 years ago, meanwhile console gaming around 29 and handheld around 22.

So, due to FFXI and FFXIV my playtime would be:

PC > Consoles >>>>>>>>> Handhelds

Without those 2 mmos:

Consoles >>>>>>>> PC > Handhelds

It's interesting to see this thread pop up again after a year, and even more so to reflect on how my position has changed since.

Last time (around Oct last year) I said my focus was roughly split 80% console to 20% mobile. (Which was closer to 90-10 on hindsight).

In this past year, however, I've really taken to mobile gaming in a big way after getting into 2-3 games that I persistently play. The common trend of all these were that I got into most of them through friends and these games are stuff I can play easily and casually, without a lot of monetary investment (I do spend some, which would have been sacrilegious to my younger self). Then Pokemon GO happened and that was also a period where I saw a ton of my social circle picking up mobile gaming in a big way.

So right now, my split is closer to 60% console/traditional handhelds, 40% mobile, or maybe even 50% - 50%, considering the downtime between my anticipted game releases. Really boggles my mind to consider how my perspective on mobile gaming has changed in the past year.

PC - 70%
Handheld - 15%
Console - 10%
Mobile - 5%

I enjoy all platforms, but MMOs suck most of my game time away.

I was probably 50/50 consoles and handhelds most of my life. These days, though, it's like 70/30 in favor of handhelds + iPad.

The iPad tips it, though.

Console>PC>handheld

Used to play Starcraft, wow, diablo on PC. Was so addicted. But I only play PS4 now. Really enjoying the exclusive games on the PS4. Playing on console feel much more comfortable. Might and probably will go back to PC one day when a very good mmorpg comes out on PC that's Better than wow. Until then, PS4 PRO on my 56" 4K tv will keep me entertained.

Is it both if I'm playing on my laptop?

In the last year most of my gaming was on my desktop PC, but before that it's split between a laptop and a 3DS.

Console. Has been that way since I was a lil kid.

PC and Mobile is kind of split.

Handheld is/was barely played.

Handheld>Console>PC>Mobile

Handhelds are more convenient for me, since I spend a lot of my time away from home, and I like playing games in bed.

Probably if I were to compare PC to each individual console I own it would be my second most used system after PS4, but with the added play time of PS3 and WiiU in the mix, consoles trounce the more powerful machine.

Mobile games are nice little time wasters when I've nothing better to do, which isn't very often.

I probably have over 1800 hours between all the pokemon and monster hunter games i've played and that still pales in comparison with WoW on PC which is closer to 11000 now

edit: working with adult life here and pokemon which just happened to track time. No idea how much time i've spent on console gaming, which the majority of my childhood through late teens were spent playing, started gaming at 2.

Since I moved my room round and got my PC setup sorted allowing comfy couch gaming, it's literally been 95% PC gaming vs 5% PS4. The PS4 is more a glorified Netflix machine at present and since getting a 4k smart TV I'm tempted to use that instead now.

Before June it was about 70/30 split between console and handheld, but I've sold my handhelds now.

95% handhelds, 5% console, 0% mobile/PC.

It's purely down to convenience due to commuting/parenthood, but I'm the same with TV/films these days foo- being tied to a screen at home feels archaic to me compared to being able to play/watch in bed, pause and then continue on the train the next day.

Now mostly handheld. Just more convenient.

65% Handheld - 25% PC - 10% Console.

it used to be 70% - 80% console.

My whole life? Console > Handheld > PC > Mobile
Last couple years? PC >>>>>>>>>> Mobile > Console=Handheld=0

That puts me in consoles/PC I guess
