Where's Asura's Wrath II, universe?

It does deserve a second chance but without Capcom's bean counters carving out the true ending for a pittance.

Because you overassociate with Sonic and his friends? I don't know.

The song is dope af maybe the building with the red sky is the thing or the EDGE

Its made by CyberConnect2.

Its hype.

They are Platinum Games' anime brother.

...

Time to activate my Persona.

Gonna make a CyberConnect2 tribute thread.

What a load of shit. The combat in AW is extremely basic and anything remotely cool is a qte.

Please don't mislead people and compare it to PG

Maybe you can go derail another thread with your stupid associations that seem to be indicative of a personal problem than anything else.

OW the EDGE

anyways, moving on from 2005

As Capcom has seen working wonders with spin offs and such it would be cool if Asura could fit like an invitation character to a fighting game like most of you had pointed, I mean he has a cool moveset for a fighting game, like Mahvel

But what about Tekken? Asura fits so well in there

In all cases, a remaster could be wonderful, that game at 4k would be something else

This is true, the combat is very basic, the good thing in Asura is the QTE and how they "feel" I wont compare it to PG myself

I like the universe, the characters, its a fun watch on youtube and the game does use QTEs in a pretty "fun" way.

I'd be happy with a fighting game however. I want to get a glimpse at the other deities that were left in the dust, like Sergei and Olga.

Yes, this. The player controlled combat sequences, the shooting and melee are actually detrimental to the game because of how repetitive they are and they go on for far too long. Fighting feels like a chore you have to do to get to the good part of the game, the QTE scenes.

Why give you an actual game when Capcom will throw Asura into some fanservice-heavy fighting game/mobile game to pretend they care?

Man, we don't even get this in MvC Infinite.
It's like the character and moveset that sells itself but naaaaah.

It would be nice, but it isn't like there's anything else that needs to be told for Asura.

Where do you go when you got yourself into a fistfight with God and won?

We gotta grab it for ourselves. If the year of dreams 1 and 2 taught me anything it's that anything is possible.

I mean we're getting a .hack gu remaster for christ's sake and I can't wait😁

Sadly, it's hanging out with God Hand 2. :(
Im still waiting the Lead game designer come back from farming :(
About AW i would say its a pretty diferent game, amazing boss fights, a interesting lore and IMO a hype ending, i mean the whole game is hype. Would love a sequel or prequel but a remaster would be enough.

Stop saying you'll pay good money. That's when they charge stupid prices and only two people buy it. Because the price was stupid.

I'd like a hd remaster with all dlc. At a reasonable price. £20 tops. Vanquish and Bayonetta were priced decently. Even Marvel 3 was decent for the launch offer.

Given how anime the story is, I'm sure they can wing another random crazy ass story. And yeah, inclusion in Marvel anytime soon would be good. Hell, even SFV.

Weird ppl are saying the ending is DLC. The game does have a fitting ending. The DLC feels more like a series conclusion.
It's like the developer realized they won't be able to do a sequel so they make it into DLC instead.

The regular true ending is a cliffhange my man.

If you want to get closure, the ending is the DLC

Do you guy think I should hold off buying Asura's Wrath until after TGS? Im afraid I do buy the game for PS3 but then TGS announce the remaster version.

Would love a sequel to this game. The set pieces and story were amazing, I'd go ahead and say it had the best presentation of the last generation. It's a close second to MGS4 to me. For the first time I felt like I was actually playing an anime.

There's literally no chance of this happening. The game sold nowhere near enough for them to consider it.

Nah, that story's pretty definitively over. But a remaster, hell yes

(epilogue spoiler)
make Asura's reincarnation canon in Street Fighter

Capcom barely treat it's well known IP Megaman and SF properly, and are now recycling RE ports.

Unless its in the same league as MH, I don't think we will see Asura's Wrath anytime soon, unless it was port :/

They'd probably try and make us pay for the true ending again.

Please, GOD, Capcom, Steam release with the DLC included for $30. I'm completely in.

Please! It's UE3! It'll run on a toaster at this point!

It's so bizarre reading people praise a game where its ending is DLC.

Well the ending was pretty good.

It was a very shitty move from Capcom I won't fight that, but the add-on showed its worth. I also think it was during a time where micro transaction were so abundant we became numb to it, I dunno lol.

Obviously if they pull that type shit again it won't go so easily

Honestly, I feel bad for it. I really do. It was complete bullshit.

But I'm a coward and I love the entire last act too much to not praise it, despite the bullshit. I'm genuinely sorry.

God Hand does QTEs much better (though I'd call the button prompts I guess that are triggered by certain enemy states which usually are from them being dizzied).. Plus God Hand actualy has great core combat as well, and a great sound track! In fact Capcom remaster God Hand please...

I dunno I didn't really mind it considering I picked the game up for 8 bucks. It was also one of the best pieces of DLC I have ever purchased.

Game is incredible and I loved it dearly. But you need to treat it more like buying a season of a TV show than a game.

Another day, another game I missed out on that GAF heaps praises on and now I feel like I have to play. Can we have a whole thread for these? Lol

I'd love a remaster with all the DLC included, it's a visual QTE spectacle and despite the gameplay being a bit basic it was such a ride from start to finish.

I'd love a sequel with a better combat system one day.

Yeah fuck it. Im not gonna wait for remaster version that might never come.

I recently start watching Fist of the north star and I'm craving for over the top action game and I think this a perfect game for that.
