I'm still skeptical, mainly cause this is Ubi Shanghai and not Ubi Montreal.

I think there are elements from the Montreal team working in Shanghai now, probably to ensure a Chaos Theory instead of a Pandora Tomorrow.

is it just me or is the download slow? (60k/sec)

Yep, started off extremely fast (my max speed) and quickly went down to 200 KB/sec for me. (QT 640x360 version).

Nice again!

One thing tho: The overall soundlevel is quite low, especially compared to the intro/outro song. I have to turn the volume up after the intro. (on QT low at least). But maybe it's just me; not natively speaking english; trying to understand everything...

Keep it up! :>

When I get home tonight, this shall be mine for the watching. You guys at 1UP have single-handedly hyped me for Black... you fuckers. =P

No wonder Che doesn't like DoA4. He is always using Kokoro.

I wouldn't like DoA4 either if I was using Kokoro. ;)

BTW, why no love for Enchant Arm? It's the ideal game to give some exposure and hope a publisher picks it up to release in US.
Good idea...maybe have the next episode with a little of [eM], maybe even see bebpo on camera talking abt the game... :D
what do you think Che??:D

or have an import section once in a while, showing games from Japan?dont u guys have a japan correspondence?johnyram?...maybe show the 360 lounge, PS festival and that sort of things....TGS later this year??
1up show is going to be awesome

great video as always...thanks Che!

[edit]
duh silly me, you guys did the 360 japanese launch and the famicom beat guy thing...how can I forget....well great job che, honestly I'm looking forward to these episodes every week...:D

Hmm March release for Kingdom Hearts 2. March is getting packed.

Battlefield Modern Combat for 360 looks great too. I may have to give in on this one. DM wins. :(

Its also comprised of a lot of levels from previous Splinter Cells (with a few new ones). PASS!

I'll be getting my fill with the next real SC.

No.

Single player mode is 9 missions.

7 of them are new. 2 are from older games.

UBI is adding other single player levels from the console games as extras to play through and not part of the single player campaign.

Obviously this won't be as good as Double Agent, but it looks like fun.

As the post above says, most of them are new missions with some old missions for extra stuff. That's not bad at all and doesn't put it in the same league as other PSP ports

The game itself though seems to be running kinda eh...but then again, I'm not a fan of Splinter Cell

Oh ok, I thought they said 7 old levels, 2 new ones.

and for the reason sony didn't include a second analog nub, was because they wanted to streamline the overall design and have it look 'less complicated'.

I agree, the abscence of a second analog stick baffles me.

No Jane!!! Shit shes the ponly reason I watch the goddamn show !:[!

I actually like it when she doesn't show up too much. She makes too many goddamn appearances.

However, if you like Jane, you should try the 1up audio podcast. I haven't listened to any of the recent ones, but she's probably still the host of it. I like her radio voice though many times it just sounds like she loves hearing herself talk.

Another great one. Ouch on that DOA4 score. From what I've played, I'd give it an eight, at least. Loved that last bit and this show, more than any of the others, is the best-paced and edited so far.

Damn, that BF2:MC footage actually looked like a lot of fun. Wasn't impressed with screens, but in-game looks really good.

Dual thmbsticks on the PSP....someone write up a memo to Sony please.

Actually that has to be the biggest (wtf) with the PSP. It's a goddamn marvel, what they were able to accomplish with the graphics and format and everything. But then they gimp it like they did.

So far, i just buy games that only rely on one analog stick like Tony Hawk and racing games, and i am still in amazement that games like those are possible on a handheld. But if Sony would have JUST added a 2nd analog then there would be absolutely nothing holding it back from being the ultimate 3d gaming handheld.

Just finished watching it, I haven't played a DOA since the PS2 version of Hardcore. DOA4 looks like it would be a lot of fun online, but is the game worth the $50 the game retails for?

The Episode was good, but I say less Che more Jane! :D

First episode in a while that has some interesting games.

Battlefield:MC 360 looks a lot better than I expected. The lighting and shaders are far better than the PC version. The textures kind of hold it back.

I'm sold on Kingdom Hearts 2. Wasn't on my radar until I saw that preview.

Splinter Cell PSP not having online play is criminal.

Sorry, still in the ether. Uploading from here to there. Soon, says our lord of production.

The iTunes version is up, for anyone who watches it via iPod.

I'm subscribed to it and it seems to give me a permission error everytime I try update the podcast. happened last week for about a day as well.

"authorisation is needed to access *path*"

:(

I downloaded the podcast version first, at first it gave me the errors also but after like the third try, I added the podcast subscription again and it downloaded just fine.

Haha. Cool show.

And Battlefield 360 looks surprisingly great.

Looks like EA has pushed some really great next-gen effects that I've yet to see with other devs. There's something awe-inspiring realistic with the reloading. And Fight Night 3 looks totally awesome. Not to mention the leaked MOH PS3 scans.

EA is rocking hard with their next gen debut(anno 2006).

:lol :lol :lol @ the doa4 trolling...

this ep is already off to a good start...

The guy in the DOA4 scene with me, Richard "Dick" Li, is an excellent troll when it comes to fighting games. If it isn't SF3: Third Strike, it ain't worth shit, apparently.

Still, good ol' Dick's been teaching me all about the in's and outs of Xianghua in SC3. I've got to feel nothing but grateful, I suppose. Here's a guy who hates 3D fighting games, but plays SC3 (and schools me at it) because he's just an all around good sport.
