Didn't realise it until now, but I'm afraid it's this. When I think "Playstation", I think of some advert montage where a guy in a t-shirt and hoody is playing some sports or racing game on his sofa. The Playstation brand doesn't really have a "character" associated with it in my eyes.

I never owned an original Playstation. But definitely Crash Bandicoot due to the commercials from the 90s, where they show the logo and the weird accented voice says "PLAY STAY SHONE".

The thing is the immediate character would be Crash. I also have really strong imagery of Sackboy for some reason. I guess that's due to Crash being so long ago. Nathan Drake appears there too. To answer the question correctly, the answer is definitely that Crash immediately comes to mind first.
