Which games/ports would you love to see on the Switch?

I would love to see more fighters. It's a bummer that Tekken 7 is probably too visually complex for the switch because that would be perfect. And of course SFV has exclusivity. Maybe Guilty Gear? And an updated port of Pokken feels inevitable.

I just wish Capcom offered more than a mediocre-looking updated of SF2 at a ridiculous price.

I really wish that the Dragon Quest remakes that just came out for 3DS were on the Switch. Would love to play VII and VIII on the TV and on the go.

Honestly, if third parties do an adequate job of porting to the Switch, it might become my main console, just because it is so seamless to move from TV to on the go.

I'd buy one day one for

(I'd also like to see my game on there, too)

Seconded. This would be perfect.

Red Dead Redemption
Resident Evil 7
Wave Race
Mario Galaxy 1&2 HD
1080
San Francisco Rush HD Collection
GTA IV or V
Monster Hunter
Fatal Frame
FF7R

and ya know what... need to throw a western FPS in there... even if its an exclusive remake of Black Ops or something.

Kid Icarus Uprising
Pokémon Stars/Eclipse
Persona 5
Ocarina/Majora HD
Overwatch
Rocket League
Shenmue 1+ 2 HD
Kingdom Hearts 1.5/2.5
also
DAYYYYTONNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Basically every first-party release from Wii or Wii U that's capable with the control scheme since I missed all of those. I bet a lot of other "core gamers" who are now looking at the Switch seriously did the same.

Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 would be the ultimate ports for me.

P4G was perfect as a portable and Switch can be both.

Also, still waiting on my Kirby Super Star HD remake.

Honestly a port for just about any great non-handheld game would be an awesome addition to the Switch. There's one I'm definitely looking out for hopefully soon though:

Rocket League

Kid Icarus: Uprising remaster for Switch would be amazing. That rumoured Dark Souls trilogy release would also be cool.

Monster Hunter

Dark Souls trilogy

Skies of Arcadia remake

Rocket League

Persona 5

Trails Series remakes

Final Fantasy stuff

Darkest Dungeon

Basically anything thats been on the Vita over the past 6 years

Xenogears Remake
Xenosaga Episodes I-III Remaster
Xenoblade Chronicles
Xenoblade Chronicles X
Persona 5 Golden
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance / Radiant Dawn
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC/SC/TC/ Crossbell Arc / Cold Steel I-III
Diablo III

Diablo 3.
Or Path of Exile.
Or Torchlight / 2

I've been hoping for one of these types of games on a portable system with good controls for ages. The Switch seems like it could handle a version of one one of these games.

Torchlight stuff would be great. That's exactly the kidn of game that'd be great to take with you.

Third Strike and Alpha 3 Max. I haven't copped a Switch yet, though Ultra SF 2 has me wanting one moderately bad, but port Third Strike and Alpha 3 Max or Alpha 2 and Ill literally need to purchase it. Power Stone Collection and Smash 4 port would also do the trick for sure. Capcom VS SNK port would force me to buy the console without even asking the wife thus putting my marriage at risk, so maybe I shouldn't hope for that last one. Oh and KOFXIII would be a great fit on the Switch as well.
Beat em ups like Final Fight would also be great, hell port A Kings Tale FFXV to Switch by itself and charge $10, it'd be worth it.
Mega man Anniversary collection, Mega man X collection, and Mega man Zero collection would all be great on it as well. Oh and a MMX Command Mission Port would be amazing. Mega man Legends 1 and 2 would also be great, but I think Misadventures of Tron Bonne's design would be simply amazing for portable so that's a shoe in.

Mega man Legends 3

Rocket League!

Yup this is a no-brainer to me, assuming they could make it work. I can say with like 90% certainty that I would buy a Switch just so I could take Rocket League with me on the go. Zelda, Skyrim, MK, etc. would just be icing on the cake.

Nintendo and Psyonix should be all over this. It could very well sell at least a truckload of Switches. And if they could manage to keep split screen (at least 2-players) with Joy-Cons well boom there's a party right there.

Also love the Wave Race suggestions. Damn great game.

A lot of the games on my list are practically shots in the dark but I will say them anyway:
-Metal Wolf Chaos port (pretty please FromSoftware!)
-Bayonetta 2
-Sin and Punishment 1 & 2
-God Hand
-Gamecube games

New games from Platinum Games and From Software.

Skyrim and Minecraft are already coming, so that's great.

Dark Souls is a big one. Any of them. All of them. Great fit for HD rumble with the left-hand/right-hand equip system. Great fit for portable play with the quick sleep mode option, and sometimes online, sometimes not gameplay.

Metroid Prime Trilogy, remastered in HD with remapped controls, HD rumble support, and support for multiple control schemes.

BioShock: The Collection, with support for motion aiming and HD rumble. (This game would be perfect fit for HD rumble, and a perfect AAA third-party port to latch on to the Metroid Prime constituency we all hope will be built on Switch.)

Super Mario 64, remade in HD with remapped controls and a better camera. Keep the movement and physics the same but make the game look like something new.

Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 collection, remastered in HD with remapped controls and support for multiple control schemes.

Zelda HD collection, assembling all the pre-BotW 3D Zelda games in a single HD package with a mostly unified control scheme and interface.

I would really, really, REALLY like to see Towerfall Ascension on the Switch. It would just fit in perfectly with the focus on local multiplayer.

If they don't bring Kororinpa to the Switch then they should have scrapped HD rumble imo.

Other than that... I'd go for a Mario Strikers where you don't have to aim a wii remote at the screen to save goals [don't use the touchscreen pls].

A new F-Zero.

I'm open to other games (not metroid unless it's amazing and 2D), surprise me Nintendo. I like the size of the handheld screen and hope they make the most of it.

Just first party stuff. Anything 3rd party I would rather get on another system or PC before switch. In fact I would rather just get their first party stuff on PC over Switch if we are going to dream.

The fact that it's portable basically means "all of them"

I'd rebuy the shit out of so many games that I already own just for the portable aspect alone

GTA V would be pretty fun, but I would hope for a Dark Souls Trilogy or something like that.

Obviously Dark Souls 3 already works like shit on actual console, so would need a lot of effort to be playable, but I think would not be impossibile.

First/second party Nintendo from GC up
I need some rhythm games too.

Pokémon pinball first please. Let me hold the scree in long mode if I want

And a port of Downwell.

-Get VCs up for every non-Sony system, not just Nintendo systems but Atari, SEGA, NEOGEO, Wonderswan, Amiga, etc.
-Port as many Wii U games as possible (Tropical Freeze and Tokyo Mirage deserve a bigger audience).
-Dark Souls!!!
