Can’t really say it hurt, but I played Battlefield Heroes for a bit and it was a lot of fun for what it was. Kind of had an ‘old-school Battlefield’ feel to it.

Was sad to see it go, although I had stopped playing long before it shut down.

Anything really good usually gets its online resurrected at some point on PC so I can't really think of any.

A lot of my favorite online games (Battlefield) are still available, so it's hard to choose.

BC2 will have it's servers closed this year and that sucks despite me not playing it anymore.

I honestly can't think of any that I am still playing when they die. Only stuff I truly played long term was Soul Calibur and Splatoon. Splatoon is still current, and I'm usually done with each SC entry after several hundred hours, and just move on.
