Hmmm... I think they have a fairly high chance to be honest, I mean they already have a ton of assets they can reuse (by upgrading) to build a fair portion of the game. If they worked closely with Sony (like they did with TASM2), they could probably get most of the story portions done within a matter of a few months. I think most of it comes to working on the main mechanics of the game, if they plan on rebuilding the game from scratch then I think 3 years is probably a lot of time to work with. That is of course, assuming that their contract doesn't end on a date before the movie comes out.

I don't really care who takes a crack at it as long as they don't give fans of Spider-Man 2's swinging an upfront fuck you and refuse to build off of the finest bit of gameplay ever related to Spider-man.

I mean seriously. The first open world game got the most important part of Spider-man so outrageously right... I can still turn that game on to swing around.
