Who are you top 5 podcast personalities?

Arthur Gies always seems like a nice guy on rebel fm.

Can't believe I forgot player one, even though I am not a Greg ford fan. I love pop.

I miss old Garnett Lee that actually played games (not talking about fucking preview events) and wasn't trying to be a hip DJ. I actually feel bad for Canata who brings good shit every week.

Point is that I like the Drunk Tank. They have very simple views on gaming, using such ground breaking terms as "cool" or "dumb."

That and I've never listened to anything other than that or Idle Thumbs, I just dig the RoosterTeeth crew more.

Being around 20 shows into Idle Thumbs, I agree.

I've never heard another gaming podcast, though... and really don't feel the need to.
 
I actually listen to podcasts primarily for the entertaining personalities instead of the actual game discussion. So my top 5 (or 6) would be:

Shane Bettenhausen
Luke Smith
Shawn Elliot
Jeff Green
Jeff Gerstmann / Mark MacDonald

Old 1up will probably always be the best.

Gertsmann is good too, and I like Jeremy Parrish when he's not whining. He was the best with Shane on Retronauts, imo.

Jeff Green is easily my number 1. Does a nice job balancing guiding a podcast while also being hilarious.

Then I'd probably throw in Ryan Davis, Jeff Gerstmann and Vinny, who have all made me sad that I didn't follow their stuff when they were at Gamespot.

I'll never forget the times when you guys had Dyack on the podcast. He may get a lot of crap from pretty much everyone, but you can tell he absolutely believes everything he says, which was always in GREAT length and detail on 1UP Yours.

I think the only thing I remember better than the Dyack appearances was when you guys tore Mitch Gitelman apart.
 
I pretty much like everyone I've ever listened to for their various quirks, but if I had to narrow it down...

Well, I pretty much wouldn't narrow it down.

My favorite podcast thing ever was Gaming Steve, because he had this awesome professionally done loud theme music which sounded like a game show host introduction, then he would come on and be all Steven Wright mellow immediately following.

Like, "HERE IS THE MAN WITH THE PLAN THE TOWER OF POWER TOO SWEET TO BE SOUR GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGG STEVE!!!!!!!!!!"
