Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder, Elvis. I don't think it's so much about range as it is quality/tone and power in male voices. I'd add people like Lionel Richie and Manilow, Barry White. As far as pop music goes.

Yes he is gifted. You really feels like he talks straight to you. But if we talk strictly voices, I wouldn't rank him near the top.
