Who is AdjutantReflex

Certainly not, that image is like an evolution chart going from borderline loli to cartoon sex-bomb. Notice they are arranged with increasing breast size and decreasing eye size.

...and...uh...yeah Halo 3, I'm excited.

"I approve."

I don't know if any of you remember, but I recall Stinkles using the term "Facilitate" and "Enabling" while setting up our last custom game last night (The one that Lukems joked about being a Laser orgy). I think he's been posting as Adjutant Reflex. :D

Of course he isn't the Adjutant Reflex! The real person behind this is.....
THE MASTER CHIEF!

In response to the Ouendan pic: The right most is supposed to be American, I guess that's the Japanese subconscious for you.

As for the thread topic: Uh what? I have no idea what the hell is going on in here.

So marketing is starting already....

Marketing started before Halo 3 was even officially announced, what exactly is your point?

Besides, the game is just over three months away... isn't now a great time to be marketing?

The beginnings of another Halo ARG hopefully.

No not really, i hate this kind of marketing like i luve bees(halo2) or some crap. 3 months is still way off plus you still have e3 coming up.

Did you follow I love bees? It was an awesome story, and a cool way to bring people together. It can't be compared to regular marketing (Print, TV, etc.)

Taken from the board posted above.:

Here is how it breaks down:

Hours in a year, according to Google = 8,765.81277

Hours passed since activation as cited by AdjutantReflex = 871,803,909+-384

871,803,909 / 8,765.81277 = 99454.999995396890047880865244627

Rounded, that's roughly 99455 years since activation.

100,000 - 99455 = 545

We're in year 2007. The events in the Halo story arc take place in the year 2552.

2552 - 2007 = 545
-------

So AdjutantReflex was activated in 2007?

Dude, I posted that. :lol

They were questioning the math and I just provided them with the breakdown.

And yes, AdjutantReflex is posting in the present. ;)

Archives/Resources will be compiled in approximately 38 hours. No significant incident predicted. Systems, functions and attitudes are nominal.
That was posted at exactly 11am Pacific time.

So 38 hours later would be tomorrow night at 1am.

No sleep for me tomorrow night. :lol

This process is relative only to this location. No other suitable location was found. One other was attempted. Bandwidth restraints prevented its use.

I will stay here.
I think it's done with HBO. Luis Wu banned all talk of ILB from his forum because it got too big, so I think he objected to this one as well.

In response to "I know about Voi", he posted this:

3:22:44S (-3.3788)
38:34:07E (38.5687)

Voc, if ever there was a Mr Vociferous batsignal, that's it!

3:22:44S (-3.3788)
38:34:07E (38.5687)

Hmmm???

Northern Korea?

Location of the Ark? Does this have something to do with Road to Voi on the Halo 2 vol. 2 soundtrack?

Can I ask anymore questions??

Hopefully we get another audio play like last time. I rather liked that.

Yeah, I hope the 38 hour countdown is a nice reveal or at least a link to an offsite ARG. B.net is a great site and all, but the forums are rabid and really too hard to follow when something like this happens.

Voi, Kenya is a crappy market town in between Nairobi and Mombasa in 2007.

In 2552, as part of the EAP, it's marginally more important. Apparently.

A little fun fact about Voi is its neighboring Tasvo East National Park. The park has six different types of mongoose. You can even see a warthog or two. Yay, for fun facts. :)

You mean.. THE WARTHOG IS REAL!?

Wait...never mind.

Pelicans too.

Since this is counting down to Wednesday 1 am PDT, are we expecting something on XLM? That's when they usually release new content isn't it? Perhaps a single player trailer?

That would be an anti-climactic ending to all of this. It won't happen. I'm thinking that when that time comes, we'll have a better place to track AR. Like a site.

Phew. Good man, at least you didn't jinx it.

Awww, shit. :'(
3am is when content has been released on Marketplace - all three vidocs. People looking for a payoff this early in the ARG are going to find it's a long road to E3 (when I expect stuff to actually get revealed).

Perhaps a link will be embedded somewhere in a random trailer that is released on XLM? Kind of like how www.ilovebees.com was at the bottom of the Halo 2 movie trailer. That wouldn't be a bad way to kick things off this time around. Especially if people were searching for it.

I think - hope - they are going to avoid repeating themselves. This was kicked off lower-key - right in the heart of bungie online communities. I'm hoping it doesn't lead to phone booths and radio plays. ILB was brilliant on many levels, but I'd like something original again. So far, so good.

That's a good point. They probably won't repeat themselves.

I was also technically wrong. It'll be 1 am PDT on Thursday, not Wednesday. Interesting...

They should make people ride gondolas through riverways and decode messages from visible billboards.

I've heard there are campaign pics watermarked into the back of the US Constitution.
