Who is the "worst" character in Always Sunny

At that point, the show will essentially be over. They'll keep pushing the implication for as long as they can. I fully expect the show to end with them all dead or in jail.
i believe it is Frank, Dennis has more delusions than he actually has violence, I am not convinced he is really a murderer or anything. Frank just went on a mission to lose all morality and he succeeded.

Frank didn't appear until season 2 iirc. The gang would be just as fucked up if he wasn't around.
Dee is horrible , the high reunion showed it.

Dennis is a full sociopath and it's also ambiguous if he's outright a rapist and murderer. With Frank, you at least see or know his worst qualities. Dee is basically a female Dennis, and Dennis benefits socially from being a man. I see no reason Dee would be as nuts as Dennis if women got as many passes as men do.
Charlie is a child but he's dedicated in his idiocy and creepiness. Mac just wants to be accepted and in the closet like others said.

A strong argument, but Dennis has also successfully convinced someone to commit suicide - and arguably attempted murder on several people when he locked them inside the burning apartment
though the entire gang is admittedly complicit there
Dennis is easily the worst because he's the only one of the gang capable of self-reflection outside of Frank, and even Frank thinks Dennis is fucked up.

Not sure how much each character changes but I'm up to the third episode of season 3 and so far Charlie is my least favorite.

They're all pretty horrible. Even Charlie turned out to be a vicious prick in "Charlie and Dee find Love."
It's neck and neck between Dennis and Frank when it comes to the worst. We have a lot of worrying implications about Dennis but Frank makes bomb threats, runs sweat shops, manipulates the public into a gun fever for profit, etc. so I think he gets the nod.

I'd also say Dennis, thinking about it I don't think anyone else comes close. Maaaaaybe Frank at times for doing unethical shit but Dennis takes the cake.

I feel like if we had more backstory on Frank he might edge out Dennis. He did run sweatshops, and seems at home with some real shady shit. Going just by whats on the show though, Dennis.

Mac seems like the one who would benefit most from not being in the Gang.

Definitely Dennis because he is fully aware of the things he's amoral in and relishes in it. Frank is too, but he's more self-centred for his own INCREDIBLY corrupt desires rather than actually attempting to be harmful to others for purely his own pleasure.
Frank also gets plus points for being far and away the best character. It's hard to hate him when everything he does is solid gold.
