Trigun is not my favorite anime. But Vash the Stampede is my favorite character. I love both his humorous and serious sides. Although I wasn't quite a fan of Johnny Young Bosch's voice for him.

Han Solo (Star Wars)
(female) Commander Shepard (Mass Effect)
Xander Harris (Buffy)
Fox Mulder (X-Files)
John Marston (Red Dead Redemption)
Private Hudson (Aliens)
Sarah Connor (Terminator: SCC)
Echo (Dollhouse)
Cortana (Halo)
Dexter Morgan (Dexter)

Bruce Wayne. There are a bunch of other characters but he'll always be at the top. I know a lot of people say that Bruce is the least interesting part of the Batman stories, but the reason Batman has survived so long is because of the strength of his character. His villains, who some say are the main attraction, work so well because they're distortions of him.

This is a close second:

Death - Sandman
Spiderman
Laura Roslin - Battlestar Galactica
Lorelai Gilmore - Gilmore Girls

Spidey is probably my top pick, but I'm with you on ALL of these.

And I throw in Agent Sarah Walker. <3

Andrew 'Ender' Wiggin - Ender's Game

Christ, what a shit cover

Fitzchivalry Farseer & Nighteyes (They are one, do not argue) - The Farseer Trilogy, The Tawny Man Trilogy

A first class asshole without a single redeeming quality. He's great! Graham Greene is an excellent novelist. Exciting and approachable for the casual reader, yet at the same time, worthy of academia.
It goes novel > Richard Attenborough > remake set in the 60's (which I haven't seen)

Angelus - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

AngelusFangs2.jpg

Best Buffyverse villain.

Heroes: Seinfeld, T2000, Gladiator, Belgarion

AntiHeros: Han Solo, Michael Scott, Kramer, Tyrion Lannister, Jewels (PF)

Supporting Cast and Sidekicks: George Costanza

Side Chicks: Polgara, Elaine Bennis, Trinity

Wise Leader: Obi-Wan (older version), BelGarath, Morpheus, Marcus Aurelius (Caesar, Gladiator), Yoda

Villains: Darth Vader, Mr. Smith, Commodus

She is insanely likeable. I just started watching the series not long ago and she is great.

Yeah, Alyson Hannigan is a doll. I'm glad to know people are still going through the show too; hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Favorite of all time? All time? Hard to say. I'll just put Mario out there though. He's so incredibly weird, but I appreciate that. Also, we've had a lot of adventures throughout the years, a lot of good times.

How is anyone even remotely capable of answering this ?
Me because Monkeys have few options.

I consider Saiyans monkey's though... but the quality of writing is sorely lacking in comparison to the real Monkey King.

edit: I like Jackie Chan Adventures interpretation though.

WTF is wrong with GAF?!?!

Every day I have problems posting because the site goes down. It has been like this for the last couple of weeks.

And just now I lost the ability to reply to threads or make quotes as If I had been banned. WTF?

PS: oh, the thread I was in got locked, lol. Sorryyyyy....
The rest still stands, though.

Cool, but who is your favourite fictional character, Cupid.

Yah, I'm not a huge Superman fan, and came to post Sherlock, but I caught glimpse of the last Kryptonian's avatar, and have to say Superman.

Mostly from Morrison's All-Star and Beyond, he's just a story, built to win.

Death, from Sandman

Good pick.

Mine is

Hob Gadling from The Sandman

While not a primary character he perspective on jank was always fun to read about. He was a friend of Dream (one of the few) and generally was a funny guy.

I think his coda at the end of it all is one of the best stories Gaiman's ever written. Especially seeing him so many times throughout the series.

Really touching stuff. But Sandman is rich like that.

Edit: Fuck it, include Delirium as well. She's wonderful.

wrong thread, damn tabs.

but i think it is not easy to choose one favourite. there are so many books i read where i was just amazed by some character but can't remember it right now.

The Joker.

Too many good ones to pick from though.

Cheshire Cat, Batman, Jesse Custer, Sherlock Holmes, Tyler Durden.... yeah, list goes on.
