Oh i freaking loved that period between TLOU, Diablo 3 (so many wasted hours) and then Destiny to shit all that awesomeness up! I already have GTAV ready pre-ordered since I know it will be the superior version. I am also mostly referring to this holiday period where Sony definitely looks to be in a weaker position, especially since Microsoft is making a very worthy push.
I'll just play them all. My XBO is ready for whenever MCC fixes online, my PS4 is ready for GTAV, my WiiU is ready for smash, and my PC is ready for DA:I. My body is ready.
posts like this are making me wonder just how much console sales are driven by people constantly flipping from one to the other every time a hot exclusive or 2 comes out...
Nobody has games.
There are no games.
There were never any games.
There was never any GAF.
Do you even exist?
DO I?!
Based on what I've read, it's being made by an independent developer with the Unity engine. I think it's hardly misinformation to refer to it as indie.
Seen gameplay:
2015:
PS4 : Until Dawn, Rime, Tomorrow Children, Bloodborne, Order 1886, Uncharted 4, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Tearaway Unfolded, Alienation.
XB1 : Fable Legends, Scream Ride, State of Decay YOE, Quantum Break, Halo 5 Guardians,
Without gameplay:
2015:
PS4 : Ratchet PS4, MLB 15(unannounced, but c'mon)
XB1 : Rise of Tomb Raider, Forza 6(unannounced, but c'mon)
Undated:
Wild, Crackdown, Phantom Dust, Scalebound, The Last Guardian.

Ehh, I'm PS4 and Wii U and I'm pretty happy, between the two of them I never really notice any droughts.

I think a new Gears of War could be coming. Not sure about 2015 though.
Reads like a neogaf post.
Probably a very easy thing to say for reviewers who get all of their games free.
If I got all of my steaks free, I'd notice if there were a few less steaks than usual.
Considering I have to pay for my steaks, I don't know what they're on about.
How can games be real when our eyes aren't real
I'm not considering its been out for 2 years already. The games have been great however so there's that.
Well, in all fairness the Wii U has been out an entire year longer than the PS4 and XBox one. It's almost like comparing the XBox One in 2014 to PS4 in 2015 when they were both released in 2013.
Why did you buy PS4 then when you need this only for Bloodborne? Did you expect PS4 to announce and release games in 12 months from every big studio?
PS4 try to cater every kind of gamer so the exclusives released by them so far may not be what some want to play but caters some other people like next year you might the games you like and others don't like.
The animosity towards Sony from the anglo-saxon press has been tremendous ever since the PS2 dominated the market. Is it a case of cheering for the home player? Seriously, every issue that plagued MS was -and is, in some cases- obfuscated, while ever misstep of Sony lends itself to a formidable scrutiny.
Who needs games when I have Morishima-senpai?
I'd say in the U.S. mainly it's MS missteps. like they don't offer the option of a kinect less bundle at launch. how stupid is that. brand recognition only takes you so far. look at Sony and the PS3. you can't offer a more expensive product that does 90% of the same as the cheaper product and expect to sell.It amazes me that the PS4 has done so well with such a weak lineup. I get why gaffers bought the console, but what's the wide appeal to more casual gamers?
The PS4 just has that "it" factor, I guess. Combination of marketing, brand recognition, and being the clear best choice from a hardware/pricing perspective, maybe?
I don't get that analogy at all. If you pay for something, you're less likely to notice something is lacking?Probably a very easy thing to say for reviewers who get all of their games free.

those aren't real games they're uh... time consumers.Who will have time to play any exclusives with Dragon Age:Inquisition, Far Cry 4, GTA V and LBP3 coming next week anyways? I'm still playing Diablo 3 lol.![]()
But there are lots of games...

What a dumb fucking article. I've put more hours into my PS4 in its first year than any console I've ever owned.
Fucking dumb.
Thank YouSee, this is an odd perspective to me. You can understand why NeoGAF would buy it-- the same place where there are people shouting about exclusives-- but not why the mass market would buy it.
The mass market doesn't give a shit about exclusives (with some narrow exceptions).
It's this place that has such a hard time accepting that. We had huge arguments over who had the best LAUNCH EXCLUSIVES last year. No one gives a fuck. Goddamn.

There's definitely a lot of games, I have several PS4 games that I haven't even started yet, but I think that the point of the article is that the PS4 line-up right now isn't very compelling if you're looking for exclusives that you can't play elsewhere. I really can't disagree with that.
It's a situation that will change next year but Sony should really be patting themselves on the back for managing to launch a system this well considering the quality of their exclusives.
But there are lots of games...
And here we go.Sold my PS4 cause I never used it. Worst launch year in launch history.

Do you have Madden?
Do you have FIFA?
Do you have CoD?
Do you have AssCrud?
This place is like DO YOU HAVE FIRMWARE UPDATES?
Same here, I think. With the possible exception of PS Vita.

Should I preface it with a disclaimer that it's my opinion, or is that understood? And here we go.
Are you mad? The PS4 firmwares are 2000% more stable than the competition's! Surely it's selling based on all that stability.I used to think that consoles sale based on their firmware updates. Now that it has been shown that this is not the case we need a different explanation.
