I wouldn't actually break an NDA that was a legitimate one, this one entirely is. When it expires, I won't be writing a review for EGM/1UP/anywhere, but I am going to organize my thoughts on Gears of War into a post that will explain how I feel about the game: and this week I can't wait to see what other people think of it (I've played upwards of 30 hours of Gears this week).

Basically if I break that NDA, I'd be blacklisted from all MS PR around the world. And believe me, they can do it. Ho yes they can.

I certainly hope you didn't play those 30 hours because you felt you had to, forcing yourself to play a game is so not fun. Like Gears.
 
The few multiplayer matches I played at E3 were pretty fun and quite polished. My GA impressions are still somewhere on the site I believe.

I’m sure that anyone who plays thirty hours of one game in a week enjoys it quite a bit. Gears will be fun and it will be pretty; their is nothing to worry about.

Then you haven't watched the 1up show lately then. This issue seems to be addressed and is in fact discussed in the segment.

It's about as repetitive as Halo's gameplay. Take it as you want :)
Edit: I'm *not* saying this game is as good as Halo of course. I'm not saying anything in fact.

No reviews should be up at midnight.
 
I have a question for luke: (don't read if you want to spoil part of the single player)

Is it true that there are no Brumacks in the single player? (Brumacks are the walking dinosaur creature with mounted guns)

I 've played it for about 3 hrs. and though tit was a great action game. I did have a few problems with it, mainly having trouble telling the difference between my soilders and the enemies at times.There were several instances in the game where i was walking right alongside an enemy or shooting one of my own soilders cuz they looked like the enemy. And also is there such thing as too much detail in a game? The main heroes in the game have so much detail in thier face that at times it just looks fugly, sometimes they look like the aliens themselves and all of them look like ex con football players. has anyone else notice any of these thing. other than that it's a solid action game. I can't wait to try the co-op mode.

Well I think I already know the answer...
they don't appear in the game. I hope I am wrong, but I am pretty sure I am not. I can't imagine why they would remove them from the game. Kinda dissapointing.

Does the limited edition version have a regular 360 case inside of the metal box?

I just hope it is not like that rey Limited Edition with the disc hanging on by a rubber nub.

Game looked incredible on the 1-Up show. If it turns out to be a turkey I'll run around Picaddily Circus naked with "I AM MOHAMMED!" painted on my arse.
