i do, however, find that things which happen to women at their expense to be extremely funny, like if my girlfriend rolls off a bed without thinking, or nearly anything in azumanga daioh. what's funny to me is taking the elegance of a woman, which is mostly a visual product, and then applying slapstick comedy to it-- such as tripping or being outwardly flustered over something very trivial. it's a left-field joke, where the punchline comes from their overt emotional response that women can't help, because they're women
it's why i don't find stand-up or verbal comedy from women to be entertaining. they're trying to be smart, and when women keep they're cool they're boring
ugly women fit into neither of these categories, as their only purpose is to be made fun of for being so ugly
