I hadn't eaten these in years but I saw them on sale super cheap at Safeway and decided "what the hell?"

The first thing that came to my mind as I bit into my first one was, why does it taste so sweet?? Like incredibly sweet. I don't remember them tasting like this before. It's kinda gross. I could barely taste the cheese and filling from all the sweetness . Another victim of HFCS I guess.

Shocking news, I know. I was saddened tho, I used to eat them all the time in HS. Memories... so bitter yet so sweet.

I'm not much of a naturalist, but these kinds of mass produced frozen foods can be pretty damn bizarre...like it's just digestible food matter of varying textures and consistencies with food flavoring mixed in.

Pizza pops are 10x better than any pizza pocket, thanks to the awesome dough. Pizza pockets are really bready and dry by comparison.

Anyone who's tried Pizza Pops will never go back to Pizza Pockets. Pizza Pockets are complete shit, managing only to be edible if cooked in the oven. They're absolutely awful microwaved, as opposed to Pizza Pops.

Canadian foods tend to not have any HFCS. I believe the food has to be advertised as such.

Couple summers ago I ate way too many of these with my friends while on vacation and it was a night when we were drinking a ton of booze. Once we all went to bed and everything got quiet I felt horrible and leaned away from the couch and yarfed everything I ate all over the carpet. It was just awful. So much clean-up and I was so drunk and sleepy and sick. Since then I haven't touched these things and I don't think I ever will again. Just a really bad memory....

Worst part was we were on vacation at a rented lake house in Maine so I had to spend the next couple of days cleaning the horrible tomato-colored stain out of the carpet in fear of losing our deposit.

However I still find bagel bites to be pretty damned good! So at least I still have those.
