He seems to be the only one that gets it and thus his videos are always entertaining instead of coming of as annoying, whiny rants like the others all degrade into.

That kinda crap does nothing for me besides turning me off to their channel and not wanting to click anything by them ever again.

I've honestly never been a fan of the 'angry' gimmick. To this day I remain optimistic about games and I've not ever been a type of guy to get riled up by a review or whatever else is going on. I like following the industry because it's interesting, not to get upset about something, but that's just my personality.

Also, the type of videos that I'm into is more like group discussion or podcast format stuff and not a solo person talking at a camera while they make sharp edits.

Whatever makes you happy you should do though, and a lot of people find genuine inner enjoyment by ranting about something, so that's cool.

LGR is a good call. He does good stuff about retro computers.

His love of old PC platformers is a bit worrying, maybe it's some form of Stockholm syndrome, especially as he dismisses all Nintendo (and maybe Sega) stuff. But yeah, I always watch LGR vids, even his Sims stuff is usually somewhat entertaining.

Game Sack and Classic Game Room (and CGR Undertow) are great, I rather watch these humorous and easy going vids than some tired Angry Joe crap. Metal Jesus is good when he talks about games and music, the other stuff is not really that interesting.
