I used to use those Jump Start educational cd-roms as a kid, and I stumbled upon this picture (of the main character) and was so overwhelmed by nostalgia that i decided to use it.

Cause I'm currently playing Phantasy Star Zero :D

Made this animation for a game and thought it would be perfect as an avatar and started putting different stuff in there...
 
I finally beat Werewolf for NES after 20 years. Probably the best ending I've ever seen in my entire life, had to take a screen cap.
 
I'm a pessimist (perhaps the forum's resident doomer). And I love The Truman Show.

(edit: And now I've turned-on the DVD player. Such a good movie, even if only to hear the soundtrack playing in the background while I do chores or read.)
 
I wanted my avatar to be a picture of me and this particular one seemed to fit best.

I love Killzone 2, I love beautiful women, I love big breasts, I love beautiful women with big breasts dressed in leather, this seemed to fit the bill quite nicely actually.

Actually... GAF is pretty knowledgeable.. if you can figure out what the fuck my avatar is, I'd be amazed!
 
I'm a big fan of Heath Ledger's Joker, so I made this banner out of my favorite TDK poster. I've kept it all this time because 1) it makes finding my posts in a big thread easy (though I suppose text searching would work just as well), 2) it's great for avatar quoting myself in jocular responses to cranky posters, 3) I was halfway through painting a Scribblenauts Joker when that game was released, then I played and lost interest in it before I got around to finishing the image, and 4) I haven't taken the time to think of a good replacement.

I probably ought to get on that last point. (Actually, I just had an amusing idea as I typed those words. Maybe I'll make a new avatar tonight if it doesn't take too long.) I've grown sort of tired of seeing the same thing next to my posts.

I like Team Fortress 2.
I've seen someone else on GAF using this though and they must have stolen it from me because I cropped this from a poster.

Fits the username an is the smoothest animated cube I can find that sits still and doesn't look crazy.
 
Cause I had one when I was a kid. It was a worthless POS for games, but I ended up using it in a lot of movies my friends and I made.
 
because austria gets shit all the time.
we lock our daughters in dark basements, rape them and have several kids with them which we also lock up for a decade. we kidnap girls off the street to abuse them for years and sometimes, when we have nothing better to do, we stuck living pigs into the snow (for hours) to let them die in the name of avalanche-science-research.

my avatar should bring back the glorious times of austria when we were an empire and a global power.


oh, and we STILL get confused with australia which pisses me off the most.

My account recently got approved and have been playing way too much ME2. Someone in a differnet thread posted a bunch of screencaps from the ME iphone game, I thought the art style looked pretty cool so I snatched one.

Anyway, I changed my avatar to this one because I got tired of the older one..
 
its some comcept artwork i found from Akira and ive had this ever since i was on the overclock.net forums. nothing too specdtacular
 
I picked mine because I love Iron Maiden's "Brave New World" album and this is going to be my next tattoo, a half sleeve.

If I ever get tired of this one though, I have a back-up: shirtless Marky Mark.
