Lets flash forward back to last May the day the Revolution was unveiled.
The USA Today article by Steven Kent said straight up the system was 2x-3x more powerful than the GameCube.
Why did everyone just assume that they knew more about what was going on at Nintendo than Perrin Kaplan?
Really what IGN is hearing now shouldn't be a surprise to anyway. It was stated outright six months ago.
