The fact that this thread is up, it's five pages long, and you know about him clearly contradicts him NOT being a celebrity.

Jealousy, period is why people hate him. I'm willing to be he makes more money per year than anyone in this thread and he does it in a way that, again, probably no body in this thread is capable of.

Dude's a douche, plain and simple. He turned a 3 paragraph bit about Miyamoto being one of the most influential people in a mainstream magazine into an advertisement about himself.

The article shows a complete lack of focus and understanding of what he was actually writing about. Who knows? I don't fault him because I have no idea what the circumstances were that led to him writing it. If you are to blame anyone you should be blaming Time magazine's editor in chief for approving the article.

I remember reading an interview with him a few years back where he basically said he was still bitter at his mum because she told him not to play too much video games because it wouldn't lead anywhere. Like, he was actually angry at her.

I wasn't sure who this was about but then I did remember seeing something on MTV about him a few years ago. Seemed like a nice enough guy to me. He does look real silly in his 'cocky' publicity shots but there doesn't seem to be anything about him that deserves *hatred* haha.

sure there is. he's actually done shit and this is GAF. doesn't matter what you do, as long as it's something, GAF will hate it. it's like one big bowl of awesome hatred. i find it stupid but oh so hilarious.

its because he's a pompous douche who's full of himself. sure, he may have good intentions in making gaming and pro gaming more mainstream, but he does it in the most self-serving, moronic ways possible. i could have written a better bio of Shigeru Miyamoto, and its not because i'm a nintendo fan (well, it sort of it, but thats besides the point).

seriously, i would take Krazy Kaz as the face of the industry over this guy, and i find sony's PR attempts laughable. :lol
