Why do people say male Shepard is shit?

Lol. I don't know though. She's a lovely person on every front. Course I may be biased because she has quite the breadth of work (Planescape: Torment, Quest for Glory: Shadows of Darkness, Justice League Unlimited, MGS, Billy & Mandy). I've seen behavior that I find more annoying in others though.

I mean, nothing wrong with that, different people have different opinions. The actual work she puts in and her dedication to roles is admirable. I don't really *dislike* her, more just feel ostracized because of the way she speaks out of character. No one likes being lumped in and generalized. That reunion stream/podcast that essentially turned into a leftist celebration over the US presidential election results and a soap box for her Oscar speech kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Like I wasn't the type of person welcome to enjoy the stream because I had a different opinion or whatever. Mark Meer on the other hand, to my recollection just sat in the upper left corner reciting lines like a monkey when he was allowed to speak.

People that are nitpicking thought of that.

ALL of the characters in original ME universe has phenomenal voice acting.

We're Commander Shepard and these are our favorite lines on the Citadel. To celebrate N7 Day, Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer join us to break down their favourite Commander Shepard lines from the Mass Effect trilogy.

Happy N7 Day! Every year, Mass Effect developer BioWare celebrates its beloved sci-fi trilogy on November 7, and this year we're joined by both Commander Shepards to break down the most iconic lines from the games.

Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer voice female and male Commander Shepard respectively, and over the years, have delivered some of the most iconic lines in gaming. From "I should go" to "I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite store on the Citadel," Jennifer and Mark react to the games after all these years, reveal what it was like to be in the recording booth, and whether they thought the lines would become as infamous as they did.

Earlier this year, a remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, launched on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In our review, Jordan Ramée gave it an 8/10, praising its visual updates and changes to the original Mass Effect to modernize its controls.

Neither are winning an Oscar for their performances, but if I had to choose it would be male Shephard just because I enjoy role playing a man more than a woman in a game.
