I'm glad I got them the natural way. That sounds painful.
Edit: Oh smallpox, not chicken pox. I've never had those lol. Guess I got a normal vaccination.
You don't vaccinate against chicken pox.
Yeah you do. My brother never got chicken pox as a kid and was given a vaccine for chicken pox.
Chicken pox virus (varicella zoster virus - VZV) is from the same family as the herpes simplex virus (HSV). The virus stays dormant in the trigeminal ganglia nerve of the face which has a characteristic route towards the face surface.

I dont know a lot of people with a pock mark like that, but I do notice (all over the world, incidentally) a vaccination scar on people's shoulders. What the hell causes that, anyway?

I never had the Pox as a child, and was never vaccinated. I'm sure someday I am in for one hell of a bad week or two.
What the hell? I have one right above my eyebrow but never had the pox,
You should probably look into getting the vaccine. It can do alot of damage when you're an adult I believe...
Possibly acne pock marks? Thoses cause indent scars too
^^
Adult chicken pox can be fatal, it is most severe in adult males.

A lot of people here have a triangle of three scars on the upper arm. For measles, mumps and RubellaI dont know a lot of people with a pock mark like that, but I do notice (all over the world, incidentally) a vaccination scar on people's shoulders. What the hell causes that, anyway?
