Why has MS removed the Achievement Leaderboard from the Xbox iOS app?

I really enjoy competing with friends to see who has unlocked the most Achievements each month or just seeing what games people have been playing/unlocking achievements for, and the iOS app had a really cool 'top 3' leaderboard to show this. However, I've noticed in the past few days that this has disappeared, and you can now only compare your Achievement list directly with one other persion. Does anyone know why this is? Is it the same for the Android app?
