I just signed up for Nintendo Expansion Pack earlier today so I could play Pokemon Puzzle League. I played about 15 minutes before my kids stole it from me and they have been playing the shit out of it since.

This game is like crack, and it would be perfect for online multiplayer. Why has Nintendo neglected this series since 2007?

Yeah it was really good. It worked great with the stylus. You could use it to drag the pieces left and right instead of moving the cursor around.

Pokémon Puzzle League is one of 3 good games on the N64 alongside OOT/MM.

A few months ago I bought a Tetris Attack box with manual and inserts to complete my loose copy, it deserved to be completed because I damn played that game. Didn't know Pokémon Puzzle League was a clone, I will check it out.

My mom saw me and my sisters all playing Tetris Attack on the demo kiosk at Toys R Us so she got it for us for Christmas. I remember on the car ride to church on Christmas I looked at the buttons on the car stereo and saw them flipping back and forth like the pieces in the game lol

The GBA version is the one I played/loved the most.

I would love to have this game on the NSO+ service and would play it constantly!

fully featured single player stuff , but no multiplayer

That's a good question. Nintendo has really neglected their puzzle franchises for the entire Switch era.

Like, why not at least make Dr. Mario 99 or Panel de Pon 99 to move Switch Online subscriptions?

Yeah it seems like a no brainer. I can't imagine the effort required would be high at all. Hell I bet I could vibe code it myself lol

Nintendo will gladly make another Puzzle League game but they will never, ever let Lip and her friends have another adventure unless they do a full remake of the original Panel de Pon.

It also makes me wonder why they haven't made it yet.

I'd love a modern Panel de Pon. The old ones really hold up, but there's definitely opportunity to break into a new demographic.
