Why is Excitetruck so DAMN AWESOME?

I tried this, but it got old after a while. It wasn't for me but I can definitely see what other people love about it so much.
This officially pushes you over the top and makes you the worst Wii fan on GAF.

This game rockz, one of the few racing games i like (besides Mario Kart, F-Zero and Xtreme G).
But, um...i only have lovely J-Pop songs on my SD-Card :lol
Gives the game another touch.
Though the opening song of Naruto Shippuuden and one of the China-tracks really fits. Also, try out this MetalGearSolid-GregWilliams-theme and one of the Kanada-courses...so awsome.

....and I also invested into an SD card reader/writer so that I could play mp3s for the music.

Somehow I missed this feature.
Damn instruction books. I thought we were beyond the days of needing to read them.

Must find old SD card......

Hey so I went through the Bronze cup today on excide mode, thats four different tracks.

Please PLEASE tell me there are plenty of more different tracks. I dont even care if they are in the same surroundings, but I dont want to do the same six/seven tracks over and over and over again.

My newly found tree run skills were no use on the last cup in Super Excite mode. What a bazaar track.

Diamond cup? You can use your tree run skills on the
space trees that look like branches
. Probably my fave track in the game - love that tornado! :D

Please PLEASE tell me there are plenty of more different tracks.

Yep, there are more tracks. Even some that are in the same course, per say (i.e. in Canada) but different path and surroundings from the same course. It's deeper than it looks.

Okay. I'll you that there are more. It's the same five settings or so, but a ton of different routes through them.

My longest tree run is on that track. You just need to go exploring a little bit.

Do you still have the game want to trade it?

I rented it.

I spent 6 hours on it! I had tons of fun, but I'm not really into racers(sim and arcade) in the first place.

Does Super Excite mode have new tracks? Or is it the old tracks with higher star requirements?

Same tracks, different paths, etc... basically, though, you'll have a LOT more fun racing through Super/Mirror because of the immense amount of skill you'll need to get S ranks in everything (which you need to finish the game).

Recently unlocked Diamond. @_@

S ranks? I was getting A ranks all the time and thinking that was the top... are there S ranks? Damn...
Yeah, once you've "beaten" a track with B or better, when you play it again the new number goal it shows is what it takes to get an S.

Ive been playing through the silver cup on excite now AND DAMN IS IT AWESOME. This shit makes me hard. It makes me hard like no girl ever could. Hot damn. And I got a few S ranks the first time through.

I need to fap now. Bye.

Sorry for the double post but I'm bumping this topic.

Anyway, I just unlocked super excite. Yay for me! This game has got me by the balls, I swear. It's very addicting.

Wait until you unlock the bonus track. =)

Man, I need to get back to this game. I never did finish Superexcite difficulty. Only problem is that I don't have a Wii :(

just unlocked the monster truck last night, and it is ****ing awesome!
pulled a super air with a 1440 spin and dropped like death from above onto some poor unsuspecting bastard below, crushing his pathetic tiny truck beneath my monster wheels.

I just came.

I was never able to open up the super excite mode yet. Lord knows Ive tried. I still have some advanced tracks to S rank. SOme of them I play my hardest and scrape by with a B rank. Its insanity. but so fun.
This game is vastly, vastly underrated.

I'm renting this from Gamefly after hearing so many positive impressions about it here. Currently trying to S-rank everything in Excite Mode, though my playing has been delayed recently by college finals. It's a fun game. I'd say the best experiences so far involve going out of control, doing crazy jumps, going through some trees, and somehow making it out alive. :)

*stumbles into topic*

Wait wait wait. Excite Truck is awesome? I got this game launch day with my Wii, played through the first difficulty and decided it wasn't worth getting the top rank to unlock super excite. I enjoyed the game, I did. I also enjoy a fair challenge, I do. Are you suggesting I go back and attempt to unlock/complete super excite, or have I basically experienced what needs be with this game?

Put on a little bit of your own music via SD, go for the S rankings, and experience the **** awesome that is Excite TRUCK.

The fact that this thread gets resurrected every few weeks is a testament to how ****ing awesome this game is.

EXCITE ****!!!!

I'm sure you have missed something.
I just saw the GameTrailers-Review again (6.5 hahahahahaa) and boy did their driving suck. No spins, no intentional treeruns, even the turbometer was always in the blue range unless they talked about it. It is boring to just finish the races but put some effort in it and it will be EXCITE!!!

The tree runs in the later Canada stages are AWESOME.

Okay, I'll go give it another try. I never did learn how to do all the moves. The spin I remember being a challenge in particular.

just reached 600 meters long jump...

this game rocks and, with Tarantino's last movie soundtrack on my SD, it rocks 2 times more :D

So, I got the
goddamn MONSTER TRUCK.

I've started going through mirror mode with it, and it is awesome. Doing a 1440 spin and landing right on some lameass not-monster truck is the greatest thing ever.
Roughly how much more EXCITE is the SUPER MONSTER TRUCK?

Loving this game just like the day it came out over here.

Been making some good progress this weekend and I just have to S-rank the last track on Super Excite to unlock Mirror mode.
Have played around a bit with the challenges, which I totally neglected up to this point and was surprised how fun they were.

One thing I love about this game is that the more you put into it and experiment, the more the game rewards you.

I came to a point where I fired it up again after not playing for 2 weeks and though, oh well, still fun but the crazy stuff just doesn't give me that feeling any more.
After sticking with it and simply screwing around I came across so many possible tree runs and short cuts, both intentionally and random the game felt like it opened up another layer of possibilities yet again.

What an amazing game! :)
