I agree that the second wasn't as good as the first. The addition of the babies made the mechanics of the first game way too convoluted. And the instead of the puzzles being more difficult or creative, they instead were far more simple.
This looks to improve upon that.
I hope they spend more than $10 playtesting the game this time because the completely out of whack HP values at the end of M&L2 pretty strongly indicated that no one playtested to the end of the game and the values were set by an Excel function. And no babies.
