Why is there still no Final Fantasy Musou?

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.
Seriously.

We've got loads of Musou collabs like Persona 5, Dragon Quest, Berserk, Tecmo All Stars, etc. but still no FF Musou. We got FF Rhythm (Theatrhythm), FF Fighting (Dissidia), and even an all-star cast JRPG (World of FF).

FF seems like a perfect Musou candidate: lots of memorable characters and tons of locations.

Maybe Tecmo didn't talk with Square, or maybe they talked and SE said that they have something kinda close (refering to Dissidia) and the conversation ended.

I guess that we will never know. But it's not like the biggest loss ever, so...

I'd prefer an Arc System Works developed 2.5D FF fighting game. Dissidia NT could have been great but they made a mess of it with 3v3.

I could be completely off base here but I think even most FF spine off games had high quality graphics so it could be that it just too costly for Tecmo to make graphic intense Musou game.

I don't care for any more Musou games.

What would be cool is for someone to take the Final Fantasy universe and make a turn-based JRPG out of it.

I know, it's almost hard to even picture nowadays.

Other studios have done musous, aside Omega Force.

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Impact was a CyberConnect 2 game, Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle a Dimps game and Bleach: Soul Resurrección was made by Japan Studio.

Square Enix has too much self-respect for that.

Wait, no, this is the timeline where they released XV. Please disregard.
Someone that I used to know told me that Final Fantasy XV made them cry. Needless to say, he ended up becoming a pizza delivery guy after living in his parent's house for 10 years without any job and was given an allowance of $1500 every month for 10 years straight.

The series is almost too big. Everyone would be complaining that their favorite character isn't in it.

Unless it was based on one game. Like FFVII.

Why would anyone want Final Fantasy, a third-person action hack-n-slash series, to be dumbed down to a turn-based RPG?

There is no audience or demand for turn-based RPGs. People would never buy or care about a Final Fantasy game that was a turn-based RPG. It is a genre incapable of fun gameplay or compelling stories, and squenix was right to shed off the remains of those terrible relics of the past, and make innovative masterpieces like Final Fantasy XIII.

Wow sounds like a really cool guy.....

Oh, yeah. Sorry, my bad.

There should be a harem musou with breast physics, I feel that would do well.

With all due respect ULTROS, I can't see how a FF musou would make sense. I don't even get the point of the upcoming Persona musou. It seems pointless. A FF musou would just be a musou for the sake of being a musou.

It made more sense in the worlds of One Piece and Fist of the North star given how their storylines are brawler focused.
