Why the hell don't I get Little Caesers more often?

Little Caesar's used to be good before it was hot-n-ready. I still eat it when I can't find anything else though.

Now other places around here (Papa John's) have started to offer a similar $5 large pizza deal and their quality is beginning to decline as well :(

If anything its leagues better than the non existent flavored pizza that Dominoes sells. Fortunately I live in the NE, so Papa Ginos is my defacto Pizza place.

Little Ceasers by area back in (Randolph) NJ was crazy good to just very good.

I miss it 10 bucks for 2 pies = bliss for the whole family and good time all together. :)

Dude I fuckin' grew up in Randolph (and later Rockaway). Small fuckin' world.

I liked Little Caesar's before they went belly up and re-emerged with these non-square pizzas that aren't as tasty as Little Caesar used to be.

Their crust back in the day was good'n chewy alternative to all the other pizza joints.

It's not the best pizza ever, but for 5 bucks its fucking worth it. Every. Penny.
IMO, it gets improved considerably if you just sprinkle some Italian herb blend on the pizza. They're really bad about putting any kind of spice in the sauce.

Their breadsticks are awesome and the pizza is ok, I always get Little Caesars at least once every time I go to the states.

We have 2 Little Cesears here in town. It's ok pizza for $5. Every couple of Wednesdays they have a customer appreciation day where you get a large pizza for $3.99. Not bad for the price.
Crazy bread is awesome, though.

The 5 dollar pepperoni pizza deal can not be beat. You literally walk in, order, and leave the store within two minutes holding a large, delicious, pizza that only cost 5 bucks(AND TASTES LIKE CAT SHIT).

When we moved in to our new house last year I lived off these for a couple of months, and while they can feed a party for cheap, they taste like cat shit and give you a really bad case of the runs the next day. If I am broke and want pizza I will fork out the extra $5 and go to Pizza Guys or Pappa Johns($5 more and twice the pie)

Last time I ate there was when I was in middle school which was a fucking while ago. Don't really give a shit about the pizza, but I'd love to taste those awesome breadsticks again.

Are you willing to go on record and say you have eaten cat shit before? :lol

I usually get the 5 dollar pizza if I just want a quick snack. They are also great for parties where you don't wanna shell out a shitload of money for a ton of people.

The local pizza joints around me are far superior than any commercial chains, however.

Eh...Only times I've eaten Caesar's were at LAN parties. It was all right, but I was ripped off at a dollar per slice. Ah well...

get a better camera dude, yikes.

I took it with the camera on my Motorola Q, what'd you expect? Dramatic macro shots?

A cheap phone for a man eating cheap food!

Hah, so they have those at all of them, do they? :lol

yep. Mine has a big fat black guy with sunglasses on. Everybody honks at him.

Honking is probably the least of that poor guy's worries.

You can't argue with these kinds of margins. The only thing cheaper would be making your own food.

P.S. Making your own pizza is really, really, really inexpensive.

Maybe if making more then a couple it becomes cheaper but can you really make a single pizza from scratch including sauce, cheese, toppings, and crust for under $5?

I haven't had Little Caesers in years, but I definitely used to love it as a kid. My middle school had a lunch program where, on certain days, students could order lunch from a different fast food place. Tuesdays were Subway, KFC was thursday, and on friday we got Little Caesers. Needless to say, the program didn't last long.

And that doesn't include the cost expended heating the pizza in the oven, what you consider your time to be worth (not much in my case, but still), and etc.

Thread inspired me to get a pepperoni pizza tonight but that thing in the OP looks like some sort of scat pie, probably just the lighting.

My cellphone's camera is pretty shitty. I tried tweaking the image abit...

I replaced Little Ceasers with Hungry Howies awhile ago. Howies has better pizza, the flavored crust (spicy crust pizza is so good) and Howie bread is fuck awesome.

If you don't live near a Howies? Then yeah, Little Ceasers is perfectly fine. Cheap and good enough to eat.

Man I wish there was a Little Caesers around here. We used to have one nearby but it closed like 10-15 years ago, I just figured the company went out of business. I haven't been to one in years :(

Those prices are great, it costs like $10 for a small/medium pie around here.

Crazy bread is amazing stuff, but as I found out the other day after grabbing some for lunch, you and everything you come into contact with while eating it, smell like ass afterwards.

Little Caesar is the pizza you get when you are in a rush and can' wait for even a dominos or Pizza hut. Its not horrible but pretty forgettable.

Love the $5 hot n ready's, dont get them often enough.

Also have canadian bacon and pineapple now for $7-$8 now I think.

If the Hot N Ready looked like that at my Little Caesars (slightly burnt cheese, plenty of it) I'd have it more often. Sadly, mine sucks.

Little Caesars isn't very good, but sometimes I can't resist when I want a cheap pizza. The problem with it I think is they use very crappy dough. I got one last week and it wrecked havoc on my stomach for a good while. You would be better off going to a grocery store and getting a DiGiorno or putting up the extra 3 bucks or so for some Papa John's. I got one the other day, and they gave me coupon for a large one topping pizza for about $6.00.

Their bread is a little too dry and they put very little cheese on the pizza and they taste horrible when you reheat them in any way. But the sauce is so good. It's tangy and sort of sweet and magical. I get their pizza/bread just for that.

ctrl+f "costco"

nope, no one mentioned it.

A $9.99 16" extra large pizza with the works at Costco's outside food orders. nearly twice as big as Little Ceaser's "large" pizza & they don't skimp on the toppings!
Best budget pizza ever.

=O I have never tried that.

This.

And crazy bread is fucking unbeatable.

Yep. And their square "deep-dish" type Pizzas are better but a little more expensive.
So delicious crazy bread + deep dish pizza goodness = $10.

Add a little Frank's Red Hot Sauce and bam. Fuck you economy.

Edit: And like others have said Howies is also cheap, but personally the cheese doesn't sit well with Mr. Tummy so I can't eat that much of it. The flavored crust is the balls though.

BTW, it's 18" not 16". And yes, Costco pizza rocks. I could live in the Costco food court.
Fuck. I'm definitely going to try that shit tomorrow.

Yea, Costco pizza is where we go now..$10 for a big ass pizza can't be beat. Their supreme pizza is the shit. And their hotdogs but, thats not the subject :)

Their sauce is kinda gross, way too salty.

I guess you should not read nutritional facts on one slice of these babies.
