Wii Nintendo games that would work GREAT on the 3DS

Hahaha, unless they had a TV out option impossible, but they need to bring this game back.

Yeah, Metroid Prime Trilogy would be awesome, something Hunters couldn't do because of the DS' limitation. Although NST did a remarkable job making a Metroid Prime on the DS, the 3DS would make the series shine.

Three games in one might be to large for the 3DS, right? I wouldn't mind re-releasing each game one at a time. I'd buy all of them.

And the Trauma Center games need to make a comeback. I managed to find old used copies for the Wii and I'm really enjoying them. The touch screen is why these games were made.

What about LoZ: Twilight Princess? Running around Hyrule as a wolf in 3D or checking out the Yeti Ice mansion dungeon in full 3D.
-Deadly creatures playing as the Scorpion in 3D with normal non motion controls would be fun

Metroid Other M: Before anyone says anything, hear me out. I think Team Ninja or Nintendo can re-release this on the 3DS and do a Sigma or Razor's Edge treatment to it, perhaps make it better, refine it, and add more surprises. Of course I'd love a original Metroid on the 3DS, but if they ported Other M and refined it, I wouldn't mind that either.

What has society done to you for you to wish it such evil.

One was coming, but then Hudson = deaded. :(

Hudson had a kickass line-up waiting for us, FUCK KONAMI! They even were bringing Omega Five over. O_o

I can't fathom why Nintendo isn't banging on Konami's door for those IPs, they have the team at ND Cube, get their stuff back!

This, Bomberman coud totally work as a Nintendo mascot :(

In an interview, Miyamoto said that they tried Mario Galaxy on the 3DS. But mario was far too small on the screen, so they canned the idea.

Ok ok ok, in all honesty, I'd think Xenoblade would be awesome, but dat file size might be an issue.

File size would probably be managable, however the structure of the game would be the deal breaker.

3DS's hardware is rather restricted when it comes to rendering geometry. That's why most 3DS games have pretty simple and small areas... however, Xenoblade's huge and complex fields are what makes the game special and these most likely wouldn't be possible on 3DS.

FAST Racing League This would be a blast in 3D. Online and local MP support in there and it could be a huge hit on the 3DS.

Resident Evil 4 Technically not a Wii Game but I'd love to get it on 3DS.

LOL! Honestly, I didn't think it was that bad. I still had fun with the game. Disappointing, yes, but still pretty fun.

I just think it wasn't really cut out to be a Metroid game. A Razor's Edge treatment wouldn't really work cause what's wrong with the game cannot simply be fixing my making the gameplay better.

There was no sense of exploration, switching to third person mode was kind of annoying and the story was just really, really bad.

It'd be like with what others said Ninja Gaiden 3 RE was, polishing a game that was broken at its core. (Don't broken as in unplayable in this instance) ((Never played Ninja Gaiden 3))

Rhythm Heaven Fever would be perfect for a handheld and it's also one of the few Wii games that the 3DS can handle without taking a framerate hit. Though I'd rather see a new one.

I dunno, Shin'en's giving it a go with Jett Rocket.

Take a closer look at Jett Rocket 2? The game's obviously taking inspiration from Mario 3D Land.

This problem is related to the screen resolution of the 3DS by the way, so it's not something that can be solved by using a 3DS XL. Character models become a bunch of indistinguishable pixels when a game zooms out and there's not really a workaround for that. You can zoom in the camera, but that doesn't work for levels that were build with another kind of display in mind. This is also why the camera in 3D Land is much closer to Mario than the camera in the Galaxy games.

3DS's hardware is rather distracted when it comes to rendering geometry. That's why most 3DS games have pretty simple and small areas... however, Xenoblade's huge and complex fields are what makes the game special and these most likely wouldn't be possible on 3DS.

Well apparently the file size for Xenoblades is 5.98 GB with the largest 3DS cart holding up to 8GB. So file size wouldnt be an issue, but I suppose rendering the large areas could be. Something would have to be sacrificed.

It would be nice to play Galaxy with traditional button control instead of having to the point the IR at the screen all the time. So if Nintendo were to port Galaxy 1/2 over to 3DS I would consider picking it up, assuming the price were low enough.

Ports of six-year old games shouldn't be $39.99

Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 64 3D are still $40 :x

LOL at Nintendo buying Bomberman IP. If Nintendo was even remotely interested in the mechanics of a Bomberman, we would see "Wario Blast 2". They could care less about it. Heck, they have much better IPs already being ignored.
