Wii Owners Not As Casual As GAF Thinks? (GH III related)

Drinky Crow said:
the real question is: "which players are better at halo 3, wii owners or 360 owners?" that, right, 360 owners, because wii owners don't know what it's like to play a game better than every nintendo game ever made combined

Well Microsoft tried to Halo 3 released on the DS but Nintendo didn't approve the game for the Seal of Quality, which means the game sucked. MS trick in the book, like having Rare to pretend to own the IP and tentatively calling the game "Project: 3 Olah" (Rare's idea), but Nintendo still didn't approve it.

Holy fuck guys. Slow your fucking horses down. Drinky is the oldest, most sarcastic/un-sarcastic troll on here. If you don't know about the whole Nintendogs fiasco or any other threads he is famous for I suggest you click on some of the links below:

Just a few notes on this brief history of Drinky, the 3rd link wasn't really anything groundbreaking, but he had some ridiculous demands in there that were funny. For the 4th link, yes he was the originator of the Thursdayton, and NeoGAF's slogan, Believe.

Fake Edit: I can't seem to find a link for the Drinky Puppy Blog, but if you search it on google, you'll get some interesting results.

this has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

I've been gaming since I was 8 and I'm 27 now, but I'm no Nintendo only fan.

To the OP, the leaderboards mean jack. Even if they ARE Wii owners, who's to say they don't own all 3, but bought GH3 for the Wii? Possibilities are great aren't they?

Did you even read my post? or have even the slighest comprehension skills? I didn't say "Nintendo only fans" i said people that have played nintendo growing up. Simply because nintendo systems have been around forever.. therefore they've played games in general longer so should be used to gaming.. it comes down to experience.

13 year old that owns his first console.. which is say an xbox 360 or Wii..

vs myself almost 26.. been playing games since the atari days, nes, snes, ps1, ps2, xbox, wii.. I've played all the classics for each system. I know what hard games are and what a good game has.

I'd pick myself to beat the 13 year olds ass in most games. I Said "nintendo gamers" Because essentially half my generation is " the Nintendo Generation" we grew up playing nintendo. and i know not all kids owned a nintendo system.. some did the whole sega route up until ps2 or xbox. but that's rare.. and if so poor gamer.. if they didn't experience the awesome games on nintendo's systems they missed out on at least 75% of the best games ever made.

Well, boo-fucking-hoo.

It's one type of casual gamer for another. I guess people are too self-concious to have grandma join in thier new hobby.

Do you really not see the difference between gamers who like Grand Theft Auto affecting game design and those who like Brain Training doing the same thing? There is nothing wrong with more people playing games, but I would personally rather have more GTA-inspired games than Brain Training, despite my love of Picross DS.
