Regardless of whether or not this is true, keep Wikileaks alive. They can't get rid of it by just taking out one guy.
this.

I bet there's thousands of people all lined up to take over from Assange should he accidentally something. Kind of like torrent sites.

This guy has the perfect defense to any possible crime he could ever commit. He can kill and eat people, say he was framed by the US, and a sizable portion of the left will believe him no matter what

Why does it matter if you're a leftist or rightist in this case :/ ?

Definitely a global cover up, and it will make wikileaks more dangerous than ever. The Lone Gunmen would be proud :lol

So, how does this make for a better defense, exactly?

It must be a conspiracy! It is not possible that a douche bag would be a douche bag!
Yes, but a douchebag under governmeny scrutiny for leaking documents would be expected to exercise a modicum of discretion. Rape isn't gonna give anyone a low-profile. It seems far too convenient with the timing. Who knows...maybe he's just a dumbass, but then it kinda goes against how he's operated so far. It seems he's tried to keep a low-profile this entire time. PEACE.

What? He's been on every cable channel pimping his leaks whenever they leak something. He even states that Wikileak's goals are to give the leaks/leaker maximum exposure for their leaks.

Guess those bitches got a lot of money for saying something like this.
That's quite a disrespectful attitude you have there, they're lying because he's the founder of Wikileaks?

Would you call these women bitches if the suspect wasn't some famous guy?

What a huge fucking coincidence... Good job CIA, two birds with one stone. Not only it ruins his reputation but if he tried to defend himself he'll have to risk it with the dipshits.

Bear with me, but could it be even remotely possible that he actually raped them?

Men have been known to do that from time to time. Is there something that prevents this guy from being both a leaker of information and a criminal?

Not really, but I suppose some people love conspiracies and don't believe in rapes actually existing (it's just a woman regretting consensual sex).

As possible as all these deaths of great Latin American leaders the last few decades being accidents.

edit: nm the above I'm being a douchebag again. My answer is that it's possible but not likely.

I smell sarcasm in this thread.

We'll see how this goes, as of now ther's no evidence either way apart from the girls' story.

Here comes the insane leftwing conspiracy nuts.

Convenient timing.

I have inside info that says he was about to leak proof that aliens not only have visited our planet, but live among us while concealing their identities while they wait for Reptilian invasion.

To me, he did something extraordinary by releasing all of the documents but it was much ado about nothing except for the possibility that it hurts the ones named in the documents.

The buzz on that story has died down significantly already. No one cares enough for the CIA to orchestrate this.

CIA, like mafia, is very fond of using people as examples. They've done much worse to far greater people for far less.

Inga detaljer

No Details

The prosecutor will only confirm the suspicions of there being a rape, but refure to give out any additional details:
– The women approached the Citypolice in Stockholm yesterday to ask about their experiences with Julian Assange. They did not want to report the crime.
– These women are very frightened and don't dare to cooperate The Police believes that it's because of the perpetrator's position which the women are afraid of. This cause problems for both the police and prosecution, a source says.

We don't really know what evidence they have, but it's probably nothing like you say.

Wasn't he prepping for the remaining 15,000 docs to be released?

How convinient, "disappear" the guy after a huge credibility/frame job hit to legitimize it.
:lol

Assange has no fixed address.

Reading his upbringing and imagining his psych profile I can easily imagine him getting angry and assaulting a woman. But rape of 2 different ones in different places? [/amateurpoppsychology]

however, too overt and just too plain unlikely that any smear campaign took place.

The CIA and American government has been caught doing worst. When have they done anything like this? This theory is something a Hollywood writer would dream up. You really think the CIA would spend its resources on framing Assange?

They've done much less to far worse people too.

Like I said, they could be behind it, but it's also possible the guy is a rapist or at least may have a fondness for rapey like activity.

Innocent til proven guilty though.

Instead of calling each other names can we turn this into an intelligent discussion? For example, I'll shut up if there a prior convictions of rape for this guy, because I seriously fucking doubt he'd start with it right after he uncovered US secret documents. It's too much of a coincidence.

People are convicted of first time rape charges all the time.:lol

Watch out for the secret Wikileaks assassin squads, girls.

Even if he really did the crime and was found guilty, how many people are going to believe this was a conspiracy? There are people now that believe the CIA assassinated Kennedy and Bush ordered 9/11.

See, when you get too famous, this is when you have to use the Dave Chappelle route. Always get your hoes to sign a consensual agreement contract first. Sure, it kills the mood, but when you are on top of the world, it's easy to be brought down.

If I get super rich and/or famous, I'm totally getting consent forms made and filed by my in-house secretaries.

Whats really frustrating about this is my involvement with the alien coverup. I had received an email that was forwarded to me from an anonymous source that was addressed to FirstBlackPresidentBitches@gmail.com. I was confused at first since everyone knows that Thomas Jefferson was the first black president, but then quickly realized that coverup my actually reach the President so then I knew it must have been intended for Obama. The contents of the email were from a 7 star general detailing the alien invasion, information he had received from interrogation of one of the illegal aliens.

I sent this email to wikileaks and look what happens.

Paying some random skag to witness about rape is such an obvious trick. I honestly believe that this is pure bullshit.

Did he leak anything about the Swedes? Any reason for them to want to shut him up?

If the american government pays someone to come up with "real" accusations there is not much our police can do other than follow the accusations. What else should they do? "Oh, it's mr Assange? Well he has diplomatic internet immunity."

They've done far less to far worse people that served their overlords' corporate interests. They've murdered, overthrown or tried to, almost every socialist leader in Latin America. They're a terrorist organization and they're capable of anything.

Are playing dense or did you miss half of my post or something? First of all, I wasn't saying otherwise it would be certain that he didn't do it. Fuck it, I'm out, there's no chance of intelligent discussion here.

Calm down, I'm just playing around. I honestly don't have an opinion except that the CIA cover up thing tends to be overplayed. The CIA doesn't appear that intelligent. I would think it's more plausible under a different administration, but the leaks literally don't do anything dignificant except expose how incompetent the government was in losing that much stuff. That was already accomplished.

This was far from an assasination coverup, this would be simply revenge for something they never were able to stop. It also keeps them in the news over a bad press story (And it is nothing more than that at this point).

I would think they were at least as smart as the Russians (Possibly Israel too?) and just kill people they didn't like!:lol

yeah, a governement cover-up for something that.. it was already known. Next time the cia will try to cover the obama drones that kill civilians in afghanistan.

Oh, please. If the government wanted Assange gone, they would have done so at the first whisper of him having classified documents. We wouldn't even know the guys name. There is no chance this is a CIA plot. Perhaps some outside country or secondary corporation new to this sort of thing, but if the CIA had wanted him gone, then world wouldn't even know he ever drew breath on this planet.

Who knows if he did it or not?

But after all the stuff the UK/US governments have been upto for the last 10 years, framing a guy for a crime he didn't do would be small beer.
There are left-wing nut jobs, but in the US the right-wing nut jobs can exist in positions of power.

Anyhow if he did it, then obviously he should be punished. That's not a Left/Right issue at least for me.

or maybe it was a date gone very, very wrong.

They are spending all their resources convincing us he's really an American.

Very, very suspect at the moment...

And this is easily within the realm of the CIA...they have an impressive history of some the most despicable criminal activity... Also, they should stick to the simple strategies, their intricate stuff tends to go even more pare shaped...

Obviously, the case could be true, and in such a case he should be dealt with accordingly, but this far too conveniant... This is a guy whose organisation released very very damaging info on the US and UK.... of course, they have a big vendetta against him.

Considering the shit the CIA, Mossad and UK Secret Service have been involved in the past decade, it wouldn't surprise me the SLIGHTEST if this was a cover up or an inside job to frame him.
