I think the problem with what your asking for is that you have a very narrow definition for what equates to a feminine lookWhy aren't they linked again? We have western games portraying women like either a ugly dude or a ugly 12 year old boy.
It's not about dressing alone, it's about feminine traits which even their faces are lacking let alone their bodies.
We keep getting buffed males in games and no one bats an eye.
As soon as we have an attractive women in gaming, everyone loses their shit, like it's a "very 90's design", as if the males somehow aren't the same shirtless buffed chads we have in games since the 80's.
I'm not begging to play as a fat middle aged dude in an action game, but let's cut the BS from this, shall we?
Let the women at least look feminine and not like someone a straight guy would avoid in a party and call "bro".
It sounds like you're saying 'make women characters in games more sexy ffs!!'
Which is fine btw. If that's what you like that's what you like. I don't really have an issue with someone saying 'I only want to play as sexy ladies'.
But I think the days of that being the norm are long gone because it was always reliant on the niche of who we were years ago. We were all teenage boys playing games in our bedrooms on b+w tv's.
That's not the demographic anymore. Not in dev studios around the world and not in the worldwide player base. Gaming has moved on from that.
For me, I'm ok with it. I can find a sexy woman character in just as many games as I can find an ugly one. I like that. I've been playing games for some 40 odd years now and that diversity of characters has helped to keep me interested. But I want both not just one.
