Will your next headphones be wireless?

made the jump on black friday and landed a pair of Sony MDRXB950B for around $80. probably some of the best ones i've used. i was kind of wary since my sony bluetooth speaker had a noticeable delay when watching videos, not so with these headphones. everyone i've had try them say their sound is great and their battery life lasts an incredibly long amount of time. wish i had these when i walked around a lot in major cities (then i used my wired v-modas).

No. Too expensive and I would likely loose them. Plus most of decent ones are those terrible ones that drill inside your ear canal and I just can't stand them.

Nope! Especially not true for my cell phone. Ear buds are too small and easy to misplace. On top of that earbuds are very expensive. A cheap pair of tethered ear buds can cost you less than ten bucks at your local convenience store. Nice for an impulse buy when you forgot them on a long trip. Bluetooth... not so much.

Bought a pair of Beats Solo 3 Wireless like two months ago. Not going back to wired. The sound quality is good enough and the battery lasts forever. At the gym the cord got always stuck and sometimes it was hard to find a place for your phone when doing some excercises. Now I can just leave the phone on the ground next to my towel and water bottle. I might get an Apple Watch when series 3 is released. Already looking forward to running with only my watch and headphones.

No, I want my headphones to sound good.

Yeah, this. I want good sounding headphones that I don't have to charge.

Edit: should be noted that I have a pair of over-the-ear wireless headphones. They only last for around 500 charging cycles, though...so they will eventually turn to shite.

I have bought two pairs of wireless earbuds and came away severely disappointed in both cases. I will not be buying another pair of wireless earbuds in the foreseeable future.

I only ever use headphones at work and can only have one ear covered, by policy. So far, outside of a Bluetooth earpiece (yuck), I haven't found any wireless headphone options that fit well or don't fall out when placed in only one ear. Anything I'd buy I would want the option to two-ear it during breaks.

Hard no for me. I really don't like to deal with wireless things that could be wired, even my PS4 controller is almost permanyly plugged in via the USB cord. It's just a lot less hassle for me. Plus the price is way too high. I don't pay more than $20 for my headphones and I'd imagine wireless would be well beyond that.

Nope, never.

Wired will always be the preferred option for me. With wireless there is way too much shit that can go wrong. Your stuff needs to be charged, you need to buy expensive batteries, bluetooth receivers can break or get outdated, wireless internet can go to shit, etc.

Not anytime son. Still rocking my Bose over the ear headphones, a set of Bose QC3 and a set of Sennheiser PC350s. My previous go to travel friend was the Sennheiser PX200 until those met a tragic end when a friend slept on them and broke em. They still work, but my headphone's plastic broke and no longer holds it together.

Probably. I mean, I've got some HD600 so I can't really improve on those without spending more money than I'm considering reasonable. The only way to go from there is to get headphones for another use case.

But I'm not planning on buying any in the near future anyway.

I bought AirPods and they're simply the best things ever in ways I never imagined. I don't know if wireless headphones would offer all the same benefits, but the lack of a wire is for sure reason enough to buy wireless headphones.

I need to carry around a portable charger for all my devices and my piece of mind anyway, so wireless headphones are no extra hassle. I mean we have chargers in our work, school, home and car... battery life really isn't a complaint. You just don't leave the house if they're drained.

I tried a pair once to see if it would jive with me. The fact that I have something else to think about charging is just too annoying. I don't have a personal laptop or tablet for this reason, and barely can keep my phone charged. Charging is for the birds.
