Pretty sure there are only three available for the match normally... am I wrong?Darth Sonik said:There are way too many challenges available in tennis.
I'm sick of the spamming that occurs late in a set. There should only be 1 for every set of the match, so 5 for a five set match and 3 for a three set match. They should be all available from the start, and when used are retained if the challenge is successful, and lost when unsuccessful.

That's the way it is... if you were right you keep it, if not you lose one. You get one extra if there's a tiebreak.Darth Sonik said:There are way too many challenges available in tennis.

The Telegraph said:John McEnroe was among those to question the decision, saying: Im surprised with their choice because Roddick-Hanescu is not one I see as a Centre Court match. Id have understood perfectly if theyd put Andy [Murray] on Centre Court. If you look at the other Grand Slams... they help their players out.
So who is responsible for Wimbledons order of play?
- Andrew Jarrett, the tournament referee, meets with the Tennis Committee to decide which matches are played on which courts, and in which order.
There is a 29-point explanation of the guidelines governing how the order of play is arrived at, and perhaps the most instructive is point 25, which reads: Wimbledon has to be seen to be even-handed and fair, giving due weight to local and national sentiment, and maintaining an international approach. Fairness has to take precedence over sentiment and nationalism.
- It was the third time that Murray has played on Court One, as he also did so in the summer of 2005, when he played Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic in the second round, and also in the first round of last years Championships, against another Czech player, Jan Hajek.
Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer appeared on Court One last summer, so all four of the top four seeds competed away from Centre Court.
In the interests of fairness, the top plays and seeds cant play all their matches on Centre Court, so we have to move them around a bit. This was the day that we decided to move Murray to Court One, said Ian Ritchie, the chief executive of the All England Club. We always make it clear to all ticket-holders that there is no guarantee of who you are going to see. In the past, weve put Federer and Nadal on Court One. In the interest of all players, and in the interest of all players, we have to find a balance.
- Tim Henman, who is a member of the organising committee, supported the decision for Murray to play on Court No 1. Its important that Court One is supported. Its a brilliant show court. I think its important that those guys play out there. Im all for that. Youre very fortunate now if you have a Centre Court ticket, as with the roof youre guaranteed play. But therefore it is important that Court One is supported as well, Henman told Telegraph Sport.
During Henmans Wimbledon career, he did not always play on Centre Court, either.

Looks like it's over, Fish won, not sure what caused Haase to stop. The official Wimbledon site has live scores and espn3.com has streaming from most of the courts if you have access to it.Teetris said:Is there a place that keeps up with the score of Haase/Fish somewhere?
He stopped? Ehh. Well that explains why no streams showed up. ThanksSax Russel said:Looks like it's over, Fish won, not sure what caused Haase to stop. The official Wimbledon site has live scores and espn3.com has streaming from most of the courts if you have access to it.
